Well my opinion on this is yes. as you can probaby see from my coments from earlier.

.. I feel as though i am probaby the only pro-choice here as the rest seem to be pro-choice under certain conditions.

the baby is simply a parasite.

the mother, who it must be granted possesses superior prior rights to her life than those of the child's to its life, because the child is a secondary presence, or in more stark and perhaps distasteful language, the child, whether planned or unplanned, is, biologically speaking, a parasite on its host, the mother, regardless of whether or not she consents to its presence until it is able to survive outside the womb.

A parasite is an organism that lives in or on the living tissue of a host organism at the expense of that host. The parasite will try to servive even if it cost the host's life.

The big issue is just a moral one.
there will never be a line draw that everyone agrees with.
at what point does a baby have rights?
or at what point is the baby a human and being killed considerd murder.

It is all so emotional.

The truth is that most people that have abortions will say they would never do it.
until they are but in that position. then the truth comes out.

What exactly are you people seeing? are you seeing a person getting killed and inside they are saying no .. no .. dont kill me .. please dont kill me. they are helpless trying to fight and cannot?

because this is not what i see... Am i wrong?

Do you believe in slavery or the arguments put forth to end that practice that based on Jefferson"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that, all men are created equal...".
What is your basis of right and wrong based upon?? What if a 150 years from now, people look back at your statments such that they look at people who were proslavery?

The argument that the baby is a parasite can be made about you or any living person. What rights and protections are there to safeguard your spot taking up space in the foodchain?

On what rock do you decide what is right and wrong, what precedent do you want to decide if you were to write it down in stone??

Do I believe in slavery? Yes. I am not in favor of it and I would not want to be a slave. Because socially I have been constructed to hate it. But at the same time we are all in a since slaves. No one has absolute freedom.

Do I believe that all men are created equal? No. I am sure that most don’t. if you do this would be beyond my understanding as it is apparent we are all different shapes and sizes and colors some with legs some without some have health problems .

I never said I was not a parasite but If I was dead tomorrow it would not really provide more food for anyone but in a % you could never see. And I am not dependent on any one individual for my life. For food ect..

What is right or wrong for me. Well there is really no right or wrong. Just action and reaction how do things effect me emotionally one way or another?
There are things that cause a negative effect toward me or positive toward me.

A baby’s death will not cause me any pain unless I have formed some sort of an attachment to it. If I have been around it got use to its face or held it, and with out choice gained feeling toward it. And then its death would be sad. In my head I would give it a future or expect to see it again and again so for this to be taken away after I had already added it into my reality would cause sadness.

I may have missed the point you were getting at some please rephrase if so.

Empathy

there is not spirit or god involved. Or a Big Head in the sky.

You dont believe in the Declaration of Independence and the ideas of Liberty from French philosophers that so influenced the Founding Fathers??

And Empathy is too subjective, thats a copout answer. How would you write that out like I said if you were to write out a document to be followed if you were to write a Constitution???
Here is the law of the land, "Empathy". More thinking, please take into account people who feel no empathy
