Off diet all weekend

Ohhhgggg:bawling:. I was doing so good for the last 2 weeks on my clean diet...eating small meals every 3h or so...
But everything started last week when I got the flu. didn't do cardio thursday and friday..but did my weight trainning.....was felling very guilty about the cardio part...
Then saturday came and did very good during the day...but for dinner BOOM!! pizza...2 slices and a beer. then few hours later another slice...
Sunday comes..and do godd during day time....tha hubbie ask me to go out for dinner and there I go again..chinese...
But it does not ends there...buy candy apple for my little girl..she does not even eat a quater of it..then there I go and finish it..later at night (at the end of the Baseball game) I go for a PBJ sanwich and half a pizza with a can of pepsi....
Girls!!! i feel so guilty and bad about this......not only that...but this morning when my alarm went off at 5:30 for me to hit the gym...I was feeling so miserable and tired ...and did not go to the gym....
But today at my lunch hour I am ready to do my weight trainning...
But since I have no time to go to the gym after work(have to pick up kid) I will go home and do my advance tape of TAEBO..
but so far I am back to my "clean diet" ....
I still feel very bad about all this.. :-(
 
I feel your pain...here was my Sunday (my first cheating episode in 4 + weeks):

10am - 2 mini muffins, a biscuit, an English muffin, small bowl of frosted mini wheats, a danish

2pm - 2 candy bars

6pm - a hamburger, a small Oreo McFlurry from McDonalds

8pm - a bacon, egg, cheese croissant, 1/2 box of Dots candy

When I do something, I do it to the extreme…..ohhhh God how could I???? :bawling:

I'm back on the wagon today, though :verygood:

Uh - I think I may have ALL you guys beat....

Friday I had an omlette for breaksfast, 3 slices of pizza for lunch......numerous Twix, Milky Way, and Hershey's Choc. bars (snack size)..... TONS of Coke ...

Saturday, pasta with melted butter and cheese, 2 pieces of Papa John's pizza...more Coke......

Sunday....2 pieces of pizza (leftovers) and M&M's, 2 bowls of Fruit Loops, more chocolate....more Coke......

HOWEVER - I did make it to the gym BOTH days on the weekend, and had a good workout with the weights - but FAILED to do a minute of cardio....

But - this is how I see it - UNLESS you are about to compete in a show, or unless you are REALLY overweight and trying to lose quickly - we deserve to binge a bit....

I personally, am somewhat satisfied with my physical appearance and slacking off for two days is not going to put me that far behind.

Enjoy bad food once in a while!! Who says you have to get all serious about it, right? It's a recreational activity - the gym - a small part of your life - ENJOY EATING!

The funny thing is that I am trying to loose weight(BF). I have this skirt that was a very thight on me...and in the last 2 weeks it fits very good.
I try the skirt this morning..and still fits good. I am surprice.....The scale on the other hand went up...
Just to let u know...
Anyhow...I feel so fat and groossssssss

You really, really shouldn't feel fat and grose because you're not. One weekend isn't going to mess things up that much. It's all in your head. Now, all you need to do is just get back into it. Don't let the binge last too long. 2 days is plenty. Just be sure to do your Tae Bo tonight and eat good today....

I wouldn't stress about it. You're body fat will go down in time as long as you eat good and exercise for most of them time. Now, you probably can't go off and binge EVERY weekend, but as long as you "know when to say when" you probably don't have anything to worry about.

It's all in your head - like I said before - You READ what I ate this past weekend....right? And, I look the same - really. Its over, I enjoyed it, and now back to the grind!
 
I eat well thru the week, and then on the weekends, I slack off. And my weekend looked just about like JLO's :)

Dont beat yourself up about it ; just get back into the gym and work your ass off.

Gotta give and take just a wee bit...... ;)
 
Don't sweat the 2 day break in the diet -- like spatts said -- a couple more times while you are adjusting to the new diet and lifestyle -- then one day you realize how good your clothes fit or how energetic you feel, and that pizza just doesn't look so good anymore. That's part of the mental adjustment to the "lifestyle". If you sweat one weekend and start feeling guilty, then you are on a "diet", not the "lifestyle". It takes a while to get the habits established and then you will fall off the wagon every now and then -- but your body is going for the overall thing, not the 1-2 day changes. The good news is that your body can only absorb so much fat, etc. per day. But you may feel like you are retaining water, etc for a day or two after.

I look at the fitness lifestyle like I do investing (I'm not a high risk investor...) - I am going for the long term investment because it has been demonstrated to guarantee you a good return on your investment if you stay in. If you are looking to make profit on margins at day-trader rates, you run higher risk of not succeeding .

Now back on the diet!
 
Don't feel bad, i went overboard last weekend and this weekend. Last weekend it was our 1 yr wedding anniversary and we went out to eat and i had breaded stuffed mushrooms and potato skins AND french fries...then this weekend i had 3 slices of pizza and a turtle sundae from Omega! But i felt so sick afterwards both those times and i told my husband the next time i feel like eating like that remind me of the millions of tums i took and the few times i ran to the bathroom b/c i thought i was going to puke...so i don't think i will be doing that for a while, well until i go through PMS again! I always have cravings during that time.
