What do you guys do and do you change your diet on scheduled off days? May go do some cardio, but just interested to see what most do to keep sane....it sucks!

Some days, maybe once a week, I just enjoy myself and eat big. I don't it a gallon of ice cream but I will go out and order a big dinner and dessert and lick my plate clean. I eat clean all week long.

I plan other physical stuff on off days such as yard work on house cleaning, etc.

I don't like to do too much stuff like that when I lift because it takes away from my workouts some.

on my days off i avoid the gym at all costs, even for just cardio. I feel like shit going to the gym and not lifting, it just doesnt feel right. Other than that, its like every other day of my life

it's here again.....anyone else have an opinion? Cardio, eat more, eat less, stretch, etc??

What about deep stretching, pull-ups, sit-ups, calves....no weights, just core strength............

cut carbs by 20% on rest days.

so if your eating 500g carbs on days when you train you should eat 400g of carbs on those days off.

wyluss - sounds smart, but many would dump that theory...saying you need to refuel glycogen..............bump....are u active on rest days? Anyone off today?

well my only true off day is sunday, i run do cardio and abs on wed & sat, but i usually eat a little extra carbs maybe 1.5x my body weight compared to the usual .66 ( thats on sunday, wed and sat i eat like every other day) other then that i just chill

Nah if your eating correctly your glycogen stores should be refilled straight after you train and should be full by the time you have a rest day.

Cut carbs by 20% on rest days and you wont go far wrong!!!
