im just asking because if things keep going great ill be married within two years

and 3vandoo ,is that 51 grand reg infantry pay ? if so what did you start at per year

in the reserves, im not sure, because it's part time for the most part...reg force you could support a wife for sure. i think privates in canadian reg force make 33 thousand a year to start, and get raises pretty quickly. add to this, they are eligible for pension after 20 years. if you went reg force next year, you will be well into your retirement by your 40s. the pension is good too...my Sgt Major joined at 17, and is 43 now, and has been retired for a few years already, and he's still working full time for the reserves.
