NY PL Gyms

there's a little of both- its very cheap and no frills but of course there are young guys with very little muscle posing and pretending like they are 'buff'. i couldn't care less about that- there aren't a lot of powerlifters there (i may be the only one- thats what i've heard but its open 24 hours- i can't imagine there aren't any more at some other time of day), but enough equipment and nobody bothers me.

and to be open 24 hours, wow what a dream come true.
How safe is that place in the middle of the night, considering in "prime" location.
When you are the strongest person in the gym, you are sure to not be bothered while lifting, expecially when you are the strongest person and are a female. I can see all of the guys scrunching in the corner while you lift, afraid they may look at you wrong!! HEHE

Hey i looked up the iron island gym and found some info on it.

they have some world class coach there..and some top rated lifters in the gym.

i am afraid he will push me away from WWBB training and put me on some annoying 20x3 program...
i have made such great gains from WWBB in only 2 months it's amazing..

yes, world class- and the FEMALE lifters there are stronger than most men- the men are just monsters. but- they have beginners there too...
if they put you on a different program that you're on... maybe its cause its better? trust that they will take your current gains into consideration. the guys that lift there all post on the freak forum (go to www.deepsquatter.com and go to the discussion forums. look for the 'freak forum'- thats all iron island lifters. Introduce yourself. they have some videos up- you'll see....
