so im using an 18 to draw and a 21,22, or 23 to shoot. after i pull out and shoot up, i look @ the bottle, pieces of rubber man, now i always closely examine the contents of the syringe before i shoot it, but now im scared....

i guess i can just hope for the best..

if i did shoot some rubber in my glute, what would be some signs ?

floaters happen, you might want to invest in a syringe filter. they are cheap.

I almost had that happen near end of my last cycle using 18ga monster for 8 weeks = 16 stabs to the rubber plunger. it kind of wore out and noticed some floaters just pushed the sauce back in to the vial and started over slowly till it was left behind.. Be careful bro I would hate to see that get in your loodstream something like that is big enough to clog an artery!

I stopped using 18g. I homebrew and the batched I was making had rubber so I went in and refiltered the entire batch which is a pain in the ass when you have 200 freakin ML and you are doing it without a pump.

Now I use smaller pins for brewing and withdrawing. It takes a few extra seconds when witdrawing the gear but it is better than haiving rubber chunks.

Generally the chips of rubber are large and you will see them. Just suck out the gear and pay attention not to suck it up. I have one chunk in my EQ bottle and I decided not to refilter it and just becareful with extracting the gear making sure not to suck up the rubber.

knock on wood, i use a 20 and have not had any but i do watch. i shoot with a 25 so i don't think the chunk would even pass through the 25.
