if you count dishwashing and bussing tables through high school and some of college-about 4 years of that
bartended the remainder of my college career
bottom line is the foreign plants here in the US (e.g. the Mercedes SUV plant in alabama) are getting thier labor cheaper
and the product is considerably better

my point being im thinking you know nothing about those working environments. so to make BLANKET statements like everyone in this ignorant country does,regarding this topic, about the "skill" of the workforce is rediculious!

i wish for once people would start laying some fucking blame on the companies management and upper eschelon(sp). my 20 yrs of work experience as been in those jobs and the idiots that are stuffing money in thier pockets day in and day out at the expense and redicule of the worker is beyond reproach.

Well PW, global warming is just a fact of life, thank god or we'd still be in the ice age. The liberal guilt thrust upon people that they as an individual are causing the inevitable destruction of the planet is a charade to subjugate their minds.
THe Kyoto accords are complete lunacy and will not stop one bit of rise in Global temperatures, even their estimates are miniscule. But in the meantime it substantially damages economies.
Its a ridiculous notion of trying to stop global warming, its just going to happen whether you think its bad or not. I choose to think of it as a good thing, glass half full type of deal.
