NHL Playoffs...

So do i bro..so do i...

Carey Price deserves to be on a better team....Olay Olay Olay Ogay....fuck is that fuckin gay...Detroit is the new era in the greatest franchise in history. You dont have a clue either...everytime i say Detroit is gonna lose they win...im superstitious so fuck off you really dont think i think that team cant fight adversity? they are the king of that.

Simmer down Sally.

Ovechkin gets two but not enough. Pens take it in overtime.

Hawks and Canucks up next. I went with Vancouver at home but Hawks seem to feel less pressure on the road. We'll see.

Looks like Ward may have a broken orbital bone.
I still don't think it was a sucker punch.

What a difference in the Bruins/Canes series....after getting smoked in the 3rd period by the Canes in the last game the Bruins came out and DOMINATED that whole game...

BBR, are you talking about Aaron or Cam Ward???

Aaron Ward got into it with Walker with about 5 mins to go. Ward punched with gloves on and Walker dropped his and dropped Ward before he got his off. K.O.

Ward was not interested in fighting and didn't defend himself.
IMO not Walker's fault.

HOLY SHIT!!! HOW DO YOU STAND THERE AND LET A GUY PUNCH YOU LIKE THAT????? I've never seen that in all my hockey years....

Damn going to bed early!!!

Erskine took a sucker punch from Avery in first round but it was Avery throwing. Erskine barely flinched.
Fortunately for Avery, the linesmen jumped in quickly.

Yeah, Erskine is a house

5-5 with 7 minutes to go. Another great game.
Hawks going on powerplay

they score 6-5...fuck

7-5 beautiful backhand by Kane for the hat trick. Canucks are done.

they both played well. Canucks even made it interesting in last 2 mins. Would have made for a fun game 7

Only saw the 3rd period of the Penguins/Caps but what a period. I realized I shouldn't be anti-Penguin, it's not their fault everyone kisses their ass.....

What was that LAME attempt @ a check on the 1st Kane goal?

damn u guy anaheim isnt done yet....game 6 will be a test for the wings but rafalski seems like he is going to be back in the lineup

game 7 for det and anaheim is going to be interesting..anyone catch the elbow on datsyuk? by needs ... should be very very interesting and fiesty

too late to see but heard there was a bit of a "donnybrook" at end of game with Niedermeyer and Datsyuk hooking up and Niedermeyer landed a few good rights.

hitman's right again, Detroit lacked it's killer instinct in game 6 and couldn't capitalize on their chances early on.

Game 7 anything can happen...look out black and gold too.

I don't think Detroit can play that badly two games in a row.
I would love to see the Ducks win, but Detroit at home will be tough.

I can't believe that the Caps didn't show up for game 7. Unreal...they all sucked in the biggest game of the year. It's too bad such a great series had to end with a crappy game.

Two more game 7's tonight that should have intensity last night's lacked.

Detroit and Anaheim are on CBC. I'm sticking with the Wings.
I'm grateful Hughson is doing that series.
I certainly won't miss Bob Cole's call from "Detroy It".

Boston and Carolina...still on the fence with this one

I think Boston has really punched Carolina in the mouth these past two games, if it continues esp with playing at home, the Bruins should win.
just my.02 cents

I like Boston tonight. It all depends on odds as to how I'll bet.
It won't be a blow out like last night.

F-ing Penguins!!!

I think the pressure of the biggest game of his career caught up with Varlamov, he will have his day though. The Caps were pretty much riding he & Ovechkin for a while...where was Mike Green?

Rooting for the Bruins tonight. I have them going to the finals so I'm sticking by my pick...plus, like most people I want to see the Penguins out and Boston is the team to do that. 1st tings 1st tonight though....

Pens-Chicago final.
It's in the stars.

Tough game to call but Bob Cole has to be the worst hockey announcer ever.

You must not have ever heard Chico Resch

F-ing Penguins!!!

F-ing Hurricanes!!!

F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK

Carolina was healthy...big difference from the laugher the Bruins had against a Habs team decimated by injuries. Keep in mind too that Carolina was one of the best teams in the league over the final third of the season or so.

They were too fast for us, and trying to out physical your opponent in 7 games can wear you down. I knew they'd score a jooish goal to win, I could feel it.

Wow, Detroit just wins.....Thats all they do every year...what a well managed team.

definitely one of the best sports franchises in the past decade for sure.....but I think the hawks are going to take them in 6/7

Hawks/Wings will be a great series, no doubt

Chicago - Detroit series starts today at 3. I hate day games.
I hope it's a great series but think Wings will take it in 6.
Hawks have to be physical if they're to have a chance.

You don't think The Boulin Wall can steal it?

Who am I kidding, Detroit is ridiculous....

man that sucked. Detroit deserved this win...they outplayed the hawks in the 2nd and 3rd. I thought the hawks dominated the first. I still think this is going to be a 6/7 game series

I missed the 1st period but was able to watch the rest of the game...Even after Chicago tied it up 2-2 I was sitting there with the feeling that for the Wings it was no big deal, that they would somehow, in some way score at least one more goal and win it....it's like I expected them to win....if I'm expecting them to win, how do you think they feel on the ice? I guess that's why they are who they are

Wings just win...boring. I'm really hoping the Hawks can make that series interesting. They're fun to watch.

I missed most of the Pens/Canes game but if last part of third period is any indication this is gonna be a good one.

fuck!!!! I hate detroit

It was almost a moral victory for Chicago to tie it up and force OT. Like ez-e said, I didn't expect them to score again. Wings owned overtime until they scored. They're too good. I want to see someone else win. Hawks have potential to be a great team with all the young guys but salary cap will probably break them apart.

Khabibulin was on in the 2nd....how you give up a 3-1 in OT I'll never know

Jesus, Detroit is bred to win...they can play against adversity...with a lead....anything....work ethic is huge for Detroit...all the players have bought into the system

Im thinking wings in 5.

Then it will be ANOTHER

detroit/pittsburg final.

and the wings will obviously win probably again in 5.

Detroit is gold man, gold!!

They are seriously a fucking machine, they take players like Dan Cleary who almost wasn't going to be an NHL player anymore because he was doing that bad and turn him into some kind of monster.

If calgary doesn't win the cup, I Iginla plays a year on detroit before he retires to get the cup he deserves, lolol

I just got in to watch a great finish with Pitt/Carolina and two quick goals by Malkin to make it 6-4.

Yeah, Pittsburgh-Detroit in the finals. Still great hockey in these playoffs.

They look great against Carolina at home but neither Staal nor Ward played great. Crosby and Malkin have been.

You think they'd have a shot against Detroit?

Detroit - Pittsburgh this year will be more competitive because Crosby, Malkin, Fleury, Stall have matured and are more capable this year so it should be a great series. However, I still like Detroit because they have more experience.

Still hoping for a Chicago miracle.
I'm praying to the ghost of Bobby Hull's hair.

True, they've all matured but think they'll miss guys like Ryan Malone for grit although Guerin was a great addition.
Wings have the experience and depth. Unbelievable how their stars are so responsible defensively.

Hull and Makita should be in that dressing room telling Toews and Sharp that they were their age the last time Hawks won the cup. They never got another chance in their careers.
Hawks need some kind of boost.

What a hit by Kronwall on Havlat. Five minute major and gone for the game.
Looked like a legal hit to me.

THAT WAS TE WORST FREAKIN' CALL I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!

A MAJOR??? FOR A F-ING CHECK?????????

Just keep pussying up the league...

OK, I know I couldn't do any better, but I've never seen guys skate uncontested right into the crease more than I saw last night.....It was like the 'Canes laid out the red carpet for 'em

I've been a ref for 15 years and I'd never call that.
Look good to me.

Another case of penalizing the result instead of the action.

I was concerned for Havlat with his eyes rolling around in his head unable to get up too.
No elbows came up, Kronwall didn't take a run at him. Havlat's responsibility to protect himself breaking out of the zone like that.

Hawks-Wings up in Bookie forum.

Detroit-Pittsburgh repeat for the Cup this year.

If Detroit wins tonight will the Finals start on Saturday?

Detroit's all banged up, and the Pens will be healthy and well-rested; Malkin and Crosby must be chomping at the bit to get another shot at the Wings.
