This is after working out for like 3 months now. First month I only did military press and pushups at home, then last 2 months I started cutting and eating optimally and I started to follow a good scheme.

What parts should I work more on etc? What parts are allready well developped?

Feedback&critique plz :)
 
Do the basic heavy movements. That will keep you growing for a LONG time to come. Why are you cutting? You need more overall size to cut. Unless you don`t want that look. I wil not assume.
 
Man, don't worry about cutting yet. I hope you are doing squats and deadlifts. Good multi-joint movements that will stimulate overall develpment. You have a good foundation going, time to build upon it.
 
Yeah, my whole scheme is made out of compound exercises (rows/squats/lifts etc). I know I should'nt cut any longer so I allready started bulking since a few days ago. I'm slowly adding 200 kcals every week till I feel the gains are good with not enough added fat.
 
adding fat is not going to be a problem with u. u look to have a very fast metabolism so you'll put on quality muscle...just have to work hard as hell to get there. how much do you weigh? tb
 
holy mother of God bro, you need to starting eating. anything and everything. you are way too lean. i'm not trying to be mean but you are just too skinny. at your stage a little bodyfat won't hurt you at all. what are your goals? bodybuilding i would assume. you need much more size before you ever lean up like that. good luck with everything. if you have questions, NEVER be afraid to ask. as long as you have done some research, of course
 
He's most likely going for the metrosexual pretty boy look, meaning he wants girls to like him. EVERYONE knows chicks don;t dig guys that weigh over 150 anymore.
 
Heh, I know a lot about nutrition and have a pretty good clean diet (atm like 40/40/20) and I allready started bulking. Eating around 2600 kcals right now opposed to the 2100 I used to and will prolly go till around 3000. I weigh like 173 lbs atm, and am like 6'1 (was in my first post too) You might think I'm a ecto, but atm I'm just a skinny meso so bulking shouldn't be a problem. Actually, since I have a huge appetite I can easily eat around 5000 kcals a day so I should watch out I'm not going to eat too much during my bulk.

Anyways, thnx for the replies and advice.
 
Good abs, and a nice back for a metro.

Trust me, though, adding 20 or so pounds of overall mass will only make you look that much better.
 
yeah man you look good but a little more weight across the the top of you would look even better esp if you could hang on to that bf% when you are done bulking up

I figured something like 173x18 cals=3100 kcals a day to bulk.
Anyways, what's a metro? I heard of meso/ecto and endomorphs (meso myself). Anyways, I know I'm prolly too lean right now so I allready started this clean bulk a few days ago (I think I know everything I need to know about nutrition so that aint a problem). My goals are just to pack some extra muscle and get a so called "beach-boy look" if you know what I mean. I work out 3 days a week (1 day of bi/tri/shoulders, 1 day of legs and 1 day of chest/back) with lots of compound exercises (deads/squats/rows etc)

Wow, that looks just like uppercruster, except I remember uppercrusters chest was a little more sunk in. Or it could actually be him under a new handle.

If your appetite is so good, eat 10,000 calories a day. Dont need to worry about anything being overdeveloped. Just EAT
 
Yeah, do what Walking Beast sez. I am 6'1 too. But a bit heavier. Anyways, you could easily put on 20 or 30 pounds of muscle and still look fairly thin. But it doesn't matter what we think is appropriate, only you can make that decision.

But, if you want a good, balanced look, you are about 25-30 lbs away IMHO. Mainly the chest and arms. Your traps look pretty good, though. What are your measurements??

Anyways, eat lots of Protein and fairly clean calories, and you will grow. Don't try to 'cut' and bulk at the same time.

Small update:
I think I allready look a litte more "bulkier" after eating like crazy for like 2 weeks now. I think I might actually be eating too much, I just eat till I'm full every 2,5 hour (clean though!). In the morning lots of oatmeal with skimmed milk, throughout the day brown bread with pb, whole eggs, lotsa tuna, lean chicken (like 300gram a day), a protein shake like once or twice a day and stuff like rice, pasta, potatoes with veggies at night. I think I'm at about 4000 kcals (some days maybe even more) a day which might be just a little too much.

ANyways, I was wondering how long do you guys think I can bulk till Im at the point where I was when I started cutting? At about 8-9% BF now, and was 12%?

True. Hes got a real large frame to bulk on too. Hopefully the potential will be used. :D
 
Heh, no worries guys. I'm training really serious/hard and give it 110% every time I train. I also have a lot of discipline so I'm not worried. Im really addicted to lifting weights so its all good.

I think you look good. :)

Ignore the jealous "metro" comments. If you are straight then you will do nicely with girls just as you are. I'm 20 and I'm straight and that's pretty nice looking stuff already. I'd say add another 15-20 pounds of strategically placed muscle, mostly upper body, and put the brakes on the bulking. Male sure you do plenty of deep squats to get a nice round butt. Get ripped again for next summer like you are now and you'll be set.

You have to check your head and know why you want to beef up, to impress the guys or impress us. Those are usually two different things you know.

I guess you're right though, I mainly lift to look better for the 'ladies'. And I also feel a lot more confident when I'm not being a lazy sob.

Anyways, I guess you could say I'm going for the 'beach boy' type of look, I have no need to be huge. Now I just need to pack some more muscle though (ya I know my upperbody needs work) so I'll prolly bulk till around maybe 2 or 3 months before summer (depends on how my BF will be) and then start cutting again so I'll be a little bigger but still ripped tho (with nice muscle definition)

Also, plz do tell, what do girls like to see in a guy? Big arms? Nice chest? Legs?

I just told you homie. Mostly upper body but with a nice round butt.


Sure no girl wants a dude with broomstick legs but you're OK in that dept already. Just a bit more thigh and your done with that. We want all upper body stuff, but especially ripped abs. The first three spots a girl is going to look at first when you're in your speedo is chest, abs and ass.

haha! Nice. Im glad I motivated you Paulo! Ive been feeling real driven again, took some time to get it back, get out of the depression. No, I havent hit a bench PR yet. ThanX for asking! I did bench today. and my triceps were fried from two days ago. So that caused problems locking out. Ill post it anyway so I can get ridiculed!! haha
 
Hey beast, it's been almost two hours since you last posted. So, have you hit your Bench PR yet??? muhahahaha

Yes, I thourougly destroyed the chicken. It had left behind its former self and I was there to tear it apart.

Then I went downstairs and did some gnarly 45 lb bicep curls in my squat rack.....LOL.

Anyways, I read this board for multiple reasons, the main ones being inspiration and advice. It allows me to say to myself; "hey Paulo, with effort and persistence, you WILL be able to DL 500lbs, or bench 400, etc." And so I stay on the path no matter how far away the goal or how slow the progress. For progress is progress anyway you slice it. It means that maybe you only lifted 5 more pounds than a month ago, but nonetheless, that is 5 more pounds stronger than before and 5 more pounds towards your goal. Continually picture yourself the way you want to be and soon enough that picture will be in the mirror looking right back at you. (terribly disjointed metaphor, but I assume you get the idea)

Hey Paulo! You must not have any mercy on food! haha Little by little is the only way (especially without anabolics). That 5lbs adds up fast. Twenty of those little jumps and your 100lbs stronger. 5lbs a month is even a good gain (60lbs a year). Its true what you say about the mirror. You become what you visualize. With persistance and drive youll be at those goals before you realize it.Keep training hard!!!!!!!!!!
