If you're an overweight middle aged house wife who sits around and watches every morning show in existance and considers shoufering the kids around in a mini-van exercise, then it will be great for you. Otherwise there are far better options...Like educating yourself on proper diet and training and then utilizing what you've learned into your new lifestyle. Ironman magazine has several good basic books availible...Or just start reading magazines. Flex, Muscle and fitness, Ironman, Musclemag. These serve no real purpose for the advanced trainer because all the material is recycled, but for a beginer they can provide a solid foundation of information. Body for life is just too cute...and yes...easy. It's for those who can't spend anymore than 30 minutes in the gym and arn't willing to give ultimate intensity. I have read the book so I'm intitled to my opinion, and my opinion is it's just too well....pussyish. Much of the information is accurate though it just scratches the surface on all topics. The more you learn the more you grow. Here is probably the best place for information. Ask questions here and you will get many tried and proven methods.
