Would still like to know your age...I'm gonna guess for fun...34 to 38?

You do sound like you have your head on straight... Good luck in whatever you decide...

RB

Thanks! And I will be 24 in April :)

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a little while doing all the reading I can. Just wanted to introduce myself and get a feel for whether I want to use gear or not.

Here's my situation: I am a hardgainer ecto and have been very thin most of my life. I am 6'2 and 3 years ago I weighed only 125 lbs (ouch!). Well I stumbled upon skinnyguy.net and followed that program for a while and got myself up to the 160-170lb range which is where I am now. My body fat has remained about 10-11% to this day. I have a pretty good build but I am still pretty thin and I am having a LOT of trouble getting beyond 170lbs. I just do not think my body wants to go any higher which has left me VERY aggrivated because I eat 6 meals a day (4-5000 calories) and lift 3 days a week.

I would LOVE to break 200 lbs some day but I just do not see that happening
without using gear.

Couple things holding me back: side effects, they scare me, especially the gyno! And getting a source. I'm not asking for one because I know it's against the rules for a new guy to ask, I just honestly dont know anyone so it is obviously a barrier for me.

For now I am going to keep reading, and hope things come together sooner than later. :)
If youve only been lifting for about 3 years I would say there is noway you have hit your natural potential, especially if you are only training 3 days per week. I would look at how you train and make some changes there first. Increase you intensity etc, sure you have lots of room for growth before you should even look at using aas.

I have been telling myself this for a year now and I have made changes to my diet and routine but I have yet to break 170. Seems like it does not matter how much I eat either. It's getting depressing. :worried:

If you want it so bad, why do you only train for 3 days a week? Real life commitments keeping you too busy?

Because according to the program I followed at skinnyguy.net you're only supposed to train each body part once a week. I've always been told that it takes a week to heal up, otherwise you overtrain. So that is what I do. But I have also heard that you can train more frequently when you use steroids. True?

Exactly, train each body part only once per week. It takes me 5 days to train my entire body. Monday- chest
Tues- Legs, calves
Wed rest
Thurs -Shoulders and tris,calves
Fri- Back
Sat- Biceps and calves
Sunday rest
This way you can really hit each body part hard. Many of my muscles will be sore the entire week, and just barely recover before its time to hit them again. You should be very sore for many days afterwards.

I was thinking about spreading my workout over 5 days instead of 3. Right now I do

day 1 : chest, shoulders, triceps, abs
day 2 : legs, abs
day 3 : back, biceps, abs

How can you work your calves so much? Mine are sore for nearly the whole week when I work them!

Welcome bro!! You could always get married, that seems to put weight on bro's... :) Keep reading then i'm sure you'll make the right decision.
