New Theory for GH Dose

HeavyWeights

New member
I read in some publication sent to my home that GH should not be used for more than 6 days a month and should be used at about 12iu a day. The rationale was that as adolescents our GH levels are elevated for only about that long per month. Somebody's question was regarding a cycle in which he was going to take 8iu for about 5 months. The answer discouraged such use. This seems to go against everything I've read. Also, what is the deal with bone growth. Except for one guy I know who has a gut and claims that his shoe size has increased by two sizes (18iu ED for 2yrs+ nonstop), I haven't heard of anyone experiences those kinds of effects.

The 6 day thing sounds like bad info.

At 18iu per day he's lucky all he has is big feet and an empty bank account.

That's crazy. GH is released into the system throughout the day every day, with it's peak release time being in the first two hours of deep sleep. Injected somotropin has a half-life in the system of about 2 hours, so the whole theory is wrong.
Exogenous GH does not cause acromeglia.......abnormal bone growth.

Dear Mr. Ironmaster, please excuse my ignorance for I am a humble newbie, but I have a question if I may:

If exogenous GH does not cause acromeglia, why do we have so many horror stories? Why do the pros foreheads etc look so deformed in recent times, many of them look completely different in face structure from say 2 years ago.

That was Paul Borreson's theory about taking GH. I think he advocated 4 days on and 6 off or something similar.

Adaptek, you always post intelligent replies/questions.....
Acromeglia is a disease...you either have it or you don't. supplementing GH will not cause it. Persons suffering from acromeglia, like Andre the Giant, lack the natural defense mechanisms of the body to regulate the production and effects of GH secretion in he pituitary. It is well established in the medical literature that exogenous GH will not cause the disease....of course it would worsen the condition in those who had it. The horror stories are just that...stories. If a given pro looks different, it is something else. I'm still pretty after many years.
Hbone......that is incorrect. Here is a link to a chart of our daily GH production:
OpxFIDISA.dll

I have dozens of references to medical research studies dealing with these issues, and all GH issues for that matter. Be happy to post them if you fellows are interested.

Ironmaster, that is a slammin' photo! You look awesome. And it's proof that GH doesn't make your head grow -- it makes it disappear entirely.:fro:
