Naturally, youd want to keep that forum free of racism or other over the line behavior, but you would want to remember that the whole point of that forum is for people to get out their aggression in a area that people who dont want to read that crap wouldnt have to.

Plus all the new business you are trying to attract for the board as a whole wont see me and heatherrae going at it, because we can simply talk about how dumb the other one is in that other forum.

These are all great ideas guys. Its good we are finely talking about it rather then fighting against each other on it. I feel ef has every members interest in mind. They reall want to make every one happy. Some times it not 100% possible but I think they are trying.

Hearing from you guys in a rational manner can help a lot.

People should come to a site and have to pay to be treated normal? You want people just coming to a new site to be told "hay if you don't want to be told were going to butt fuck you in the ass then you need to pay"

that solves nothing when it comes to brand new members coming in. It would seem like a great argument but solves nothing.

being treated normal is a right to every member on ef and in real life.

being able to be an asshole to others is not a right, its a privilege.

That's always struck me as odd. I can see where a mod might want to mix it up with members, but deciding 45 posts into a thread that its time to act like a mod sure doesn't seem fair.

I am usually un-grumpy but I have my moments. As far as her jewelery, she has been collecting some great pieces all one of a kind which is what she likes.

The rules seem to work for people that have never had a problem following them or making comments that have a positive tone. The people that continue to have "issues" are the ones that were the assturds all along. There has never been any problem in light hearted jabs but some always got very ugly every time. There is nothing bright, witty, funny or cute about their posts. You know IRL they are the same unhappy lonely & sad little people.

A suggestion...if you have two sub forums, can you link them within C&C? On scubaboard.com - it's the same exact message board format - they have links to forums within forums. It could encourage more traffic if there was a link to "Plat C&C" and "Politics/religion C&C" within the main C&C.

I think this is an awesome idea... this would definitely increase the traffic, for example, like I never go to the spirituality forum or whatever, but if there were links connecting it to regular C&C then I would probably post there more, and annoy less peeps here with my folderol.

I'm almost certain it can be done...and it would not only increase traffic, but it would make it more likely tht someone would actually take a heated discussion, or one about politics or religion, to one of those places.

Really......who wants to come to a chat board and have the "law" tell them what they can and cannot post.

Seriously.....this site needs a "no rules" board that you can say whatever the hell you want....to anyone. Upon signing in you have to check a box agreeing to these rules.

I can't believe such a site as EF, where numerous members are steroid freaks with big attitudes anyhow, are limited to their tone of language by people somehow recognized as moderators.

Moderaor= Someone who keeps things moderated, possibly a communist who limits freedom of speech.

Give it a break already. I've been around here for years and this is the biggest problem on this board. Give ME, and other EF members who don't cry easy, our own board and leave us the hell alone and if you want to keep playing your popularity contests then have fun.

Tired of it, tired of the rules, I want to be me. And you can tell many others as well are also treading water or they wouldn't be so careful in their language.

BTW---I have soooooo much to say it would be worth your while to give this a try. I'm tired of "keeping the lid on" trying not to offend anyone. If I wanted to be politically correct all the time id hire a consultant.

Given the current limitations......I can express myself to perhaps 20% of what im really trying to say.

I think the admin have done a great job on this forum lately..BRR/Digger are trying to change chat...Respect them...they have put in alot of time in this site

I would not say agreed on. I was just talking things over with people. I am not the last word on this matter. Admin is the onl last word on this subject. But its worth bringing it up to them.

Not from what I read. LOL, do you really think ill be bashing everyone around here?? No. However when someone does get under my skin I want the freedom to call them out and to say my mind rather than worry about the rules.

To be honest....I think it would be very popular around here. I can tell many members are really holding it back. Hell...lets let it rip!

If we can't accomplish this than fine........ill put a lid on it and occasionally visit. Like I said, I just can't belive a bunch of weightlifting grunts need babysitters.
