New pics of my Fatherhood life

Definately wouldn't call that arguing lol. I could give a fuck....in my eyes he's stepping up to the plate :-). Obviously you can compare and negate anything I say, let just quit lol.

And it automatically puts that in the DROID message hahaha I deleted it this time.

ok well you're arguing X is not true based on A and B without specifying the parameters for X which is completely subjective, omfg what an argumentative weirdo u are there samoth

True. I likely define 'stepping up to the plate' as something very different from some of you.

Guys in my highschool had low standards all the time, it was no big deal.

:cow:

Simply put he has stepped up to the plate 1)compared to most men in America.

I don't know what America you're living in, but I will call BS on that. Maybe we hang in different circles, but "most" of the men I know who are fathers are full involved in their kids' lives.

You are painting him as some kind of fucking saint for (as nef reminded us) doing what he's supposed to fucking do. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's doing that rather than the opposite and being a deadbeat. But, I don't think he deserves accolades for simply being there for his kid.

Our expectations of Glad before this has always been that he was a self absorbed narcissistic kid. Now that hes going against that image it just seems so "incredible" and considered above and beyond simply based on the image he has already created of himself on this board.

Kinda if someone like Plunkey said he got someone pregg and said he was going to do the right thing and take care of the child. We would all be like "Ok, cool rob", but wouldnt be gushin over how hes stepping up to the plate and how its such a stretch to do the right thing.

Most christians are christian only when it's convenient for them.

Or....some of us believe that we are all born sinners....and that the best we can do is try, repent and try again.

One thing I love about my current church is that there is not an ounce of judgement anywhere, for anyone. The harm of sin is seen as something that puts a wall between you and god, not that it makes you evil. They teach that all sins, past present and future were redeemed by christ's death. That doesn't mean you get free reign to do whatever the eff you like, but it does mean that they realize living a good life is a journey of successes and failures, and a fight against our basic nature.

Yeah, but most just don't try too hard. And to most it does mean free reign to do whatever the eff they like. Now of course they'd never admit that, but that's what they believe in their hearts. :)
