new deadlift video - 525lbs x 7

I've pulled 500 for 10, so I'm not overly impressed with this effort today, but since I havent deadlifted heavy since the summer I guess its not bad.
I've been favouring my lower back a bit since I strained it a few weeks ago, i can really tell on the video as I am letting it round out a bit. Gives me something to work on though
My last shot of enth was 14 days ago so I'm almost clean too

heres a max bench from this week, 405 for 1, there are many guys that bench way more than me, but I have always had a rotten bench so was pretty happy with it

thanks, my back strain a few weeks ago was pretty bad so I was paranoid of hurting it again. 645 x 4, damn thats impressive, I've hit 625 for single and thats as heavy as Ive gone
Hows the knee anyway?

very impressive lifts!!!..what impresses me most is that you got that bench off even with REM pumpin in the background...now thats some impressive shit!!!!!!!!!! wait , please tell me you didnt add that soundtrack onto the video for inspirational purposes?
 
Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with the lifts, especially rthe bench as I suck pretty bad at bench. I posted a squat video of 405 x 10 reps the other day too, time to take it easy for a while

NJjuice22, I definitely didnt add the soundtrack, they cater to yuppies at my gym so its best to just ignore the music

Needsize..how do you figure you suck at bench man?..compared to who?..a champion powerlifter maybe ..but compared to anyone i know, thats a very good bench.

That shit was easy for you! If you trained at my gym you would be benching 500 raw easy! If you had my trainer pushing you, you would have had that 405 for 5. I shit you not!

No...I SUCK AT BENCH...315 for 5 is my best...I would not even attempt 405...
 
I guess I should say my bench used to suck, over the last year I've really brought it up, but all my power is generally been in the lower body. My old training partner does almost 600 in competition so mine still isnt up to par, at least not with him. My training partner now, alltraps, hit 405 for a single last week just because the bastard new I was going to do it this week

BTW, I paid for space on freewebs as they wouldnt let me upload a video otherwise, but it was cheap, $23 for 6 months, 200mb I think
 
Great lifts bro. But man, I would have trouble at your gym. It looks so clean you could eat off the floor. You even allowed to talk in there or do you have to whisper like a library? :p

Knee is getting better much more quickly since I started therapy. I will post about it.

Well I've only been doing them regularly again for just a short time but I will definately keep doing them at least 2 times a month. Last I pulled 405 for 5 but the first 3 was without touching the ground after each rep then for the remaining 2 I touched the ground after the 3rd rep. Not my best definately but I also deadlifted right after squatting from which I did 135-225-then 315 for 14 reps.(Gonna do deads on leg day instead of back from now on.)

Current stats also are 205.6 as measured on a digital weight scale. It fluctuated here and there of course but the other day I measured this upon waking. Been eating a bit more and muscles feeling alot fuller. Still could be leaner but I'm happy where I am and there is definately alot of time before Summer comes around. :)

GOTTA GET THE DEADS UP BABY!!!! :garza:

considering you havent done them, and thats on leg day, thats pretty good. I found I dont feel safe doing them when I am that tired.
My training partner alltraps had a pr workout today, but he wont let me tape his workouts. He hasnt deadlifted in the longest time, but pulled 505lbs for an easy 5
