It was a test to get into a private school for nursing it'd only take 3 years and I'd have my Bachelors and be a RN..I was planning on using my dad's VA benefits/GI bill to cover the tuition costs..its 133k for the whole thing and come to find out what I qualify for being a dependent of a disabled veteran is they will cover all college fees..for public school. I don't qualify for what help they have for private school which would be the gibill/yellow ribbon program. My dad is supposed to get in contact with the VA and get a clear answer today so yea..I mean I qualify for alot of grants and government loans but still it leaves over 80k that i'd have to borrow on a private or student loan and I don't think my parents would are excited about cosigning.

Just stressing out cause I don't have a career by now

I coulda Swore that Trade schools were covered by the New GI Bill ????? I could be Wrong though...
80 K H O L Y SHIT BALLZ. only 50 k covered? bullshit... hummmm.... ??????

It is but you have to use it within a certain time frame I really don't get it but I hope I qualify cause if the GI Bill was to accept me I'd take care of that 80K. My dad just called me right now he's at the VA office so I will get the answer to this soon..I just don't wanna put my fam through the burden of me having a loan out that big. I mean once I graduate I'd knock it out as soon as possible but just a shitty feeling

MY Opinion= Thats what family is for. Especially Dads and mommas. they want the best for you and thats ALL they want! For you to Succeed!!. Plus paying off the loan is motivation to keep your ass in gear and not let them down.
