amazing, he looks fantastic, and in the pics of him on stage, I can see his quads(size) and abs(cuts) totally destory those of the 2 guys beside him...

oh and I like the last pic too terminator :p
 
damn that was fast..thanks for getting those up, the ones from my video camera are really washed out, cant see much...time to go back for the evening show now...
 
Jesus Christ that front Double Bi pose has a real nice balance between vascularity, overall muscle definition and size. Competition would have to be insane to go up against that in a pose-down.
 
Good job bro- judgeing from those pics and the competition ,looks to me like you're gonna take this one--unless some lowdown judge decides to play favorites!!!!!

That's what I was wondering. You can definitely tell his left is bigger than his right. The same way I am and I'm left handed. The left becomes more "full" or mature looking. From what I have no clue;)
 
Needsize is one stacked individual. His hard training and hard dieting are gonna reward him.

BTW Needsize what are you gonna eat after the show, a tray of brownies??? :D

Needsize - I can't believe how much water your back was holding even 10 days out... it turned out fantastic!

If you don't take 1st overall, there's something very, very wrong with the judging.

i dont know why he hasnt posted here yet. i know he is up already. i;ll call him and tell him you guys are crying to know the results. if not, i'll just tell ya.......
 
I was kind of a heart breaker guys....

I ended up taking 2nd place in the heavies...but the hard part was how close it was. Alltraps was talking to one of the judges, a cop/bodybuilder who has competed all over the world, and he had said that the judges were split pretty much right down the line, 1/2 had me in first, the other 1/2 had him first. So in the end, it came down to one or two points... Paul Dillet and the promoter were sitting where my wife was, and even they were surprised, they both felt that I should have taken it...That felt good to me, knowing a pro like Paul felt I should have won... And which ever took the heavies was obviously going to walk away with the over-all (which he did)

But either way, I cant complain about 2nd place, it was only my first show. All along I had people talking shit to me, telling me I couldnt get lean enough, I had no back, I had no hamstrings...basically I was going to get my ass kicked. I was the leanest out of the whole class, I had the best hams in the show, and a lot of those people who had those things to say along the way, were there watching, so they can go piss up a rope now, I did what I set out to do...

I dont know when I want to do this again, I had no idea how brutal the whole process was going to be. I have so much more respect for guys like quadsweep that do this all the time, this sport is insane. And I can never pay back everything that people like my wife (lets not get into what she had to put up with...), alltraps, theb boards, did to support me along the way.

Great job NS. Don't be discouraged, you need to use this as motivation to push yourself further. You've had incredible progress, and I don't think anyone on elite could disagree. You also have extremely good proportions and symmetry.

You don't have to do contest prep for a while now. All you have to do now is eat to gain and train.

Many congratulations to ya bro on your placing, you done an awesome job, I wish i was there to see it!! First show with 2nd place is truely well deserved, this will only motivate you even more and you have certainly inspired me to want to compete sometime in the future.

Great Job Needsize, you looked awesome! If you do decide to do this again I am sure the experience you gained from this will be enough to put you over the top.
 
For your first show you really looked fantastic. Congrats. As one who has been there, I know how it feels to come in the best shape of your life. It's an awesome experience. Too bad about the close decision, but it'll just make winning next time that much sweeter. No go out and gain 40 lbs at least. Don't be afraid to eat everything in sight and get back in the gym as soon as you can. Your body is primed for growth right now.
 
Great Job, NS. I'm sure you're just glad it's over at this point. You were definately sharper than the other guys.

Quad, went with 50mg diazide thurs night, 50mg in the morning friday. Friday afternoon took 25mg, before bed felt I could have dried out some more so took another 25mg before bed, and came in dry as hell in the morning. Water was right on target, didnt carb load well enough so could have been fuller
 
Congrats Bro, I think you looked better than those other two, definately more defined, all around. Just think if you compete again you will easily take first.
 
I agree......2nd place the first time!!!!! Just imagine how many has tried before you and didn't even place!!! outstanding job i'd say!!!! you should be proud,all of us here at Elite are!!!!

2nd? Who put together a panel of BLIND judges?

Sounds to me like, as you said it was about 50/50 split, but ultimately they likely knew it was your first competition, and said "fuck it we'll give the newbie 2nd instead". That's usually how it goes.

Next time around you WILL be first.

You should have been first according to the pics!

As far as everyone on EF is concerned YOU WON that comp. !

Congrats bro! You looked excellent and probably should've took first. For your first time out you kicked ass and don't let anybody tell you any different! Well, nows your time to take it easy, spend some quality time with the woman, and fill that stomach up again. Enjoy yourself partner and good luck w/ everything to come in the future.

It's amazing how crisp you came in for your first show!! Most people look like crap their first time around and then figure out some of the tricks involved. You walked right out and took ownership of the stage and your class like you've been doin it for years. Props to you big guy!!
