need some debt relief

almost-pro

New member
i am just recently seperated and am getting very desperate. i got to keep the house during the seperation but i was also told i had to keep the debt. i have about 14,000 in revolving debt, only about 7,000 of it really haunts me because the rest of it is very low interest rates. no loan companies will talk to me because of my FICO score. Does anyone have any ideas?

PM me with more details(are you self employed?)and I can give you a pretty good idea on whether or not you should file for bankruptcy. There's different types and there are ways to maximize the benefits that your lawyer won't discuss with you because they may fear losing their license for doing so. If you map out things properly, you can actually eliminate all your insoluble debt, keep your house, all of your vehicles, and improve your credit score in under 2 years. (the common misconception is that you're fucked for 7 years-not really) The problem is most people wait until the last minute to file for Bankruptcy so they only reap a portion of it's benefits. The reason I know all of this stuff is that the manager of my old biz is a BK attorney now and she knows I won't rat her out for filling me in on how to play the system. I've coached quite a few peeps on this-all with excellent results. I know someone that didn't make their house payment for almost 2 years, kept 3 vehicles, and eliminated over $50K in insoluble debt. People might scoff at you for this, but BK is your legal right. Just because you do it more efficiently than most doesn't make you an asshole. Even if it does, at least you're not a broke, homeless, transportation-less, asshole. Fuck, I should be a paralegal. lol
