Need info, please

I have been taking ECA twice a day for the last couple months. Like a fuckin idiot I took one Tuesday morning without even thinking about it right before my drug test for work. Anyway, my bro just told me this could give me a false positive for amphetamines. Anyone know if this is true?

Well, considering ephedrine IS an amphetamine, your friend is correct.

Although cold medication can give the same result.

While structurally similar, ephedrine and amphetamine are different compounds.

However, you friend is correct in stating that ephedrine can give a false positive for amphetamine (or methamphetamine, forget which) in a standard drug test. There are ways around testing positive, I believe you can request a more thorough test if you test for something illegal when it is from something legal. I could be wrong about this part, though.
