need help with cell phone problem

i have verizon wirelesss and im on a shared plan with my mom, the problem is that that we only have 400 minutes between the two of us. It was meant to be like this becuz it was supposed to be my dad and mom and my dad's work gave him a cell phone. In any event. I started using my phone alot and i need more minutes, im getting nailed with phone charges and im only using like 200 min a month. my mom makes me pay any extra since i dont pay for the phone at all cuz shes stuck in a contract.

Here is the deal with verizon. for 39.99 u get 400 minutes. for 59.99 u get 800 minutes, an extra line is 19.99. is there any reason for us both to not have 400 minutes each?????????

My moms contract isn't up till november but i also want to sign up for my own plan becuz the cell phone i want to buy is the lg vx7000 and its expensive. my mom is cool with me getting a new phone, is there any good solution, u think if we call verizon ther is a chance at a deal?
