Need Help Finding Stocks of 2 Sports Nutrition Manufacturers

Casablanca

New member
I'm on a project and need to find 2 good stocks with options for 2 sports nutrition manufacturers. I'm having a hell of a time finding them ,it seems as if most of the well known companies are private.... I'd greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks

NYSE:WNI (Weider Nutrition Intl.)

NasdaqNM:TWLB (TWINLAB CORP)

Twinlab is a funny one because even though they own Muscular development and have ads all over the place, the people in charge are fucking up all over the place and they are constantly being investigated.
I haven't really followed Weider, but it is likely similar - the supplement industry is shady, must as the casino industry is.

You rock

Thank you so much, i was loosing my miiiind here. I got Twinlab with options it'll do the job. I had no idea that Twinlab was shady :) however not surprised; that's the corporate world we're talking about... I think that this world is actually more fucked up than the underground drug market; the latter has no rules to follow and therefore doesn't have to falsify any documents! I am actually looking forward to work on this Twinlab i'd love to get any ambiguous info you may have, it'll make my work spicier (MBA Finance project... ) I appreciate your time & help. ;)

if you want more, look up the Sector and Industry of those two and then find a place that lists all the stocks in those and you can find more (but it is a wider area than just sports supplements).

I tried to look up the sector on yahoo, but it compared twinlab to comanies such as CVS and Walgreens. Which website are you using?

any of them are fine (sites to look up on - they all use the same info) - and yes, they are in a very broad range of category. their industry is listed as drugs I think, or food/drugs.
a lot to sift through, but still better than having to go through all of them in general.

you are better off finding out who owns what companies, finding if they have a corp website and see if they have any investment info there.

good luck with it all.
