Need help choosing - Protein/Acai Supplements (Muscle/Energy Gainers)

Hi, I'm new to the forums, so I hope this is the right section. I know this is long, but I've been searching for hours with no answer.

I'm having trouble deciding which supplement to get, because thare are so many to choose from. I'm sure some of you might know about GNC, so I'll list some of my selections from that site that I need help choosing:

I've narrowed my selection to these products:
1) MuscleTech® NITRO-TECH™ HARDCORE PRO SERIES - Vanilla Milkshake
2) Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard™ - Vanilla Ice Cream
3) ULTIMATE NUTRITION® ISO Sensation 93 - Natural
4) Whey Isolate - Cytosport

Sorry I can't post links because I don't have enough posts.

I'll list some facts about me if it helps:
About 6"2ft tall, 175lb, low body fat, 20 years old
I have good endurance, strength, and fair muscle for my size
I've doing a fitness program at home called P90X (by Beachbody) for almost a year.
I've never taken protein supplements before, and my daily consumtion of protien is good (I think)
Ex. Lots of milk, juices, whole wheat bread, penut butter sandwhiches, but this is throughout the entire day, not right after my workout.


My main concerns/needs for a supplement are:
Gaining muscle mass
Lose Fat
Gain energry (mainly for workouts)
Must be healthy (low in fat, sodium, Cholesterol, etc.)



I've also been reading about Acai products, and how it is very healthy and helps shed fat. Have any of you taken this before? And if it

is a good/healty product, would it be safe to use with a protein supplement? Maybe a cheap and effective protein supplement and one of

these acai products would be good for my needs, if any of you could recommend?

Well as far as protein supplements I've always gone with either muscle milk or Optimum Nutrition..I've liked optimum nutrition the best. Not a bad price either. I wouldn't order from gnc though there are cheaper sites.

Acai is a good antioxidant..but as far as a fat burning supplement it really doesn't cut it IMO..it's like just drinking green tea or something to burn fat. I've used animal cuts and lipo 6 had good response with both of those.. they gave me energy as well. I've also heard people talk about lipoflame/lipostim3 been thinking of trying those out. Might want to look those up.

I've done P90x as well..it really helped me get more cut..but if you're looking to gain some mass I'd incorporate some heavier lifting.

And yes it's fine to take fat burners/acai with protein supplements.

If you're looking to cut back on BF you might not want to drink tons of milk like you mentioned...What does a typical day of eating look like for you?

Have you looked into other supplements such as creatine?
