Navy Seals fighting videos?

They used to advertise these videos a lot in Black Belt magazine and some fitness mags as well. Has anyone ever ordered them? I've been doing Gracie Ju-Jitsu for the past 10 years or so having started with basic Kenpo karate in the begininng. The advertisement makes it seem like they have some kind of "special government training" that "no one wants you to know about" unless you order the videos. This made me kinda skeptical. But I was wondering if there's anything different or special with Navy Seals fighting. I used to spar with a marine and I never saw anything that appeared to be too exteme.

from what i understand, seals spend very little time training in hand to hand. If they end up in hand to hand, it means somebody somewhere fucked up big time. These are weapon specialists.

yeah i think their entire h2h course is like a few weeks. i believe the only units who emphasise h2h alot is alfa or vympel russian kgb special forces. ofcourse, they use systema, and if you take MA im sure youre familiar with the system. id try that out, but i heard the videos are shitty, and the inclass stuff if alot better. you cant go wrong with escrima/arnis or krav maga either.

I wouldnt waste my time. There is no "special government training" that "no one wants you to know about". I had the honor to speak with a guy who develops the u.s.m.c. hand to hand or as they call it marine martial arts course. He just uses the same stuff as in the ufc, pride, ext. He told me if there was better stuff out there guys would use it to win money in the ufc.

You are wise.

Never used the combat videos but I did buy a conditioning video several years back. It was intense and worth the money but I'm not too sure the amount they want for the combat videos is worth the chance.

I can practically garoutnee it isn't
unless the Video comes with a sparring partner
I can tell you right now how to win a fight, but that isn't going to help you if you don't PRACTICE this
and you need to PRACTICE on your own so I dont' think the video is worthmuch at all

You talking about the dips, pullups and pushup program? About 20 minutes of each?
