there was actually something wrong with the malibu (not my imagination)
he put a rim from my old camry onto the right front of the malibu and its not fitted for it. it was fine for a few weeks off normal driving but apparently lumberg took the malibu out last night (i was asleep) and was testing its limits on highway on/off ramps (like an idiot) and this morning it was squeaking and clicking.

so he put the right rim back onto the right front of the car and (according to him) it has resolved the issue.

You know better than to fuck with his wheels!

A couple of days ago I was hanging out with the next door neighbors (we both have garages full of tools, chemicals, and motorcycle parts). We're often each doing our own thing with the garage door open and talking/borrowing tools from each other and whatnot. I grabbed one of the air dams that used to be on the Camry, walked over to the Benz, and calmly placed it in front of the bumper.

Cue laughter and jokes, and at least one "I wouldn't put it past you to actually do it, either!"

Speaking of which, I just heard today that Black Camry is totaled.

Now, how do I convince Teh Wife to buy another $2k car and apply the difference to saving for other expenses?
