washing the site too soon after application is not good... but by 2 hours after application washing is of little consequence..
Some of those postulations above were based upon theoretical projections of uptake that have since been found to be skewed.
Though preferably WASHING should not take place until at LEAST 2hrs after application.

Sweating seems to have little effect on total uptake, other than increasing it.. though sweating also often leads to increased systemic uptake, which many find to be beneficial to workout

Also more frequent application as delineated above has been shown for many to cause a great increase in water retention.. 1-2 times per day is better both results and appearance wise.. from experiences of users..
