My Thoughts on Yohimburn....(condensed)

Macro you mention washing of the site, is that bad? Or in what case is it bad like your were referring to above??

washing the site too soon after application is not good... but by 2 hours after application washing is of little consequence..

Some of those postulations above were based upon theoretical projections of uptake that have since been found to be skewed.

Though preferably WASHING should not take place until at LEAST 2hrs after application.

to answer UNREAL23's question
Sweating seems to have little effect on total uptake, other than increasing it.. though sweating also often leads to increased systemic uptake, which many find to be beneficial to workout :).

Also more frequent application as delineated above has been shown for many to cause a great increase in water retention.. 1-2 times per day is better both results and appearance wise.. from experiences of users..

Oh Ok, I see now, yeah you wouldnt want to wash it off after you put it on!!! Anyway, I only put it on twice a day, and I wash before each application to get all the dirt and such off, and dead skin cells off. That should increase absortion right?

YES

it helps if you use a loofah or body scrub several times a week as well

if twice a day dosing many people find better results with different app sites in AM and PM.. but some like to apply to same sites.. personal preferences :p

Be careful with that exfoliated area. If you put on a lot of Yohimburn you will get a real burning feeling that is much more intense than without exfoliating. Fitness Chick had to use a hair dryer on her legs, without the heat, to keep it from burning when she did this. But she uses a lot at once. So go easy with it until you learn how sensitive you may be.

first week

I've ued the gel 5 days now, only thing I haven't exfoliated my skin in that time period. Will that have a significant impact on the results? I intend to do it this weekend while on the 2 day off period. Another thing, since I apply it right after my shower I tend to sweat a very tiny bit during the application process. Because of this, I can never get my ab area to be completely dry after the application, it's not even close to damp, but does feel slightly sticky. Is this a problem? Is it supposed to be completly dry? I do see the crystals if that helps any. thanks

take a little MORE water and rub in... in some skin types glycerin will leave a slightly sicky residue (which seems to be what you are encountering)... wetting your hands slightly and rubbing in will help.. :p

I hate to add to this REDICULOUSLY long thread, but hey, this is the only way i can get Mac to give me advice.........JK

Anyway, got my yburn and will start next week. Was thinking of doing this........
In the AM i take a shower and exfoliate with a pumice stone while in shower. After i get out, i apply %50 buffered glycolic acid to exfoliated area. At night, before bed, i mix yburn with 100mg fina, apply, wrap abdomen in a neophrene wrap and go to bed.

Any problems with this, either timing of yburn application or effects of the Gly acid hindering effects of yburn?
ALong with 15oo cals a day and halo and Ripped Fuel extreme, i should get cut pretty fast huh....

Water retention question

I'm starting my 2nd week now, just want to say that damn! I definitely see results on my lower abs. I did have my doubts. but not anymore. Now for the question. if for the 1st week I only applied to lower abs, and for 2nd week I apply to love handles, will I be retaining water in my lower abs still during this week? Common sense tells me no, since the 2 areas are fairly close together, but was still curious. O and thanx for the tip about applying with water macro, it took me a while longer to rub in but it wasn't sticky this time. :D

NO.. unless it interferes with sleep

or effects of the Gly acid hindering effects of yburn?

probably not.. it may actually increase total uptake (given its action on the stratum corneum) but cant be sure

It MAY take at least part of the week for the water that you have from last weeks dosage to recede.. depending on dosage and individual retention.......It is less likely that you will continue retain water in lower abs....however.. for some people most of their retention is localized for others there is a more systemic retention of water.. and there is the issue of diffusion from the site .. so their proximity may be a factor in retention... but it is less likely that you will have significant retention
