Well after great experiments I've come up with a pretty good shake recipe. I use myoplex mass for protein and calories as a base. However all the flavors I've tried are OK, bearable but not great, after some time they really start to wear on me and I end up not being able to drink them. But this one's been pretty good, figured I'd share. Here goes.
10oz of water in blender
4-6 large ice cubes
blend together for approx 30 secs until you get sorta an ice slushy
While blending the ice-slushy mixture using low speed, add 1 packet myoplex mass vanilla cream, slowly.
mix thoroughly.
Add creatine
Add Glutemine
Add 2-3 teaspoons (or as appropriate) of Orange flavored Metamucil (if you're taking in a lot of protein, the fiber certainly helps)
blend thoroughly
When you finish you should end up with a frozen shake that tastes like a creamsicle, yummy.
I think they also sell metamusil in lemon\lime flavor, so that might be a variety to try. I've also added bananas to this mix for extra calories and it tastes just as good.
