wow, 5 days is way too long to be sore. 72 hrs max. i work out every 48 hrs, and i take a 3 day break when needed, it works out perfect. I hit each muscle group/exercise about 13 times a month, rather than once a week.hassinba said:that's exactly why I was asking.....I used to be able to work each body 2x a week. Now I hit each major once a week, and I get sore for about 5 days after any given chest workout, and 7-8 for legs.....I have been dieting for the past few months.
more frequency with the right amount of volume/load = bigger gains
