My opinion for 'First Timers' & Newbies...

Running Gear... My opinion for the 'New'

Don't use it. But if you really have it set in your head... Then read on...

First off... Don't run it unless you're over 18yrs of age... Or have hit your last & final growth spurt.

Secondly, make sure you have 24-36 months of consecutive training under your belt. Preferably 5yrs minimum. (That's 4-5 times per week... Hitting it hard). I say this even if your cycle is small.

Make sure you build the foundation to hold the structure... There's no point in packing hella' weight (structure), if your foundation is unstable! Make sense?? Like a building... You want to make sure the grounding and foundation is set to hold the mass size of what's to come. And working out for many years before running gear will help on that foundation and solid dense looking physique.

Too many people chase the 'instant' look... I've been there, done that. But if you want your physique to blow away the guy next to you, especially in the long run... Then make sure you have the proper training and discipline in place first! Patience... Brings great rewards... Especially in the bodybuilding world.

very nice post African Triceps

there is way too many people looking for the miracle drug, at one time i wanted it, but i was smart enough to hold off and realize that there is no such thing as a free lunch

i have been on this site for about 2 years now, and just now feel like i'm slightly knowledgable enough to run a cycle.

Africans/ Blacks seem to have advantage as well as alll the other sports in the world. great genetics, endurance, size, symetry, etc. but you seem white bro, lol.
My plan is to gain about 5lbs per year for the next 10 years or so. 220 at ~9% now, in ten years i hope to be 250+ at 4% , 22 now, so at 32, i think i can do it. i can't wait to have kids and waste all my kids' dads' fitness wise, lol

remember- Post Cycle Therapy is PART OF A CYCLE, not OPTIONAL. Don't do it and you can be worse off afterward than you were before you gained all that muscle!

I know I know...bunch of stinkin cracker honkeys getting kept down by the "man". :p

Isn't the reason the length of their achilies tendon or something? It is longer than a typical white guys right and that allows for more power when jumping? I may be WAY off base but I thought that was the reason. I personally have about a 4" vertical leap.

LoL... Yeah... I've heard about the achilies tendon thing.

But I like what SWEED said... Gain 5lbs of muscle per year. Too many talk about 20-30lb gains during a year. But if you want QUALITY gains.. 5 lbs is PERFECT... It might not sound like a lot... But after 2-3 years... that's 15lbs of Quality dense muscle!!!

If you went by the 30lbs a year thing... Eventually, you'd be a 500lb man... Does that sound right? NO. It's not going to happen that way. Stick with the realistic gains when using or not using gear.

And secondly.. Post-Therapy for SURE. All the after shit... Use it. If you can't afford it or can't find it... DON'T start your cycle. And I'm sure MANY people have said, "well I'll get it after I start"... Usually that ends up with the person running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to find Clomid, HCG etc before time runs out.

Post Therapy on a deeper level : Prepare your head for a come down!! The bb world alone is a big mentality thing:
1) You have to be bigger than the guy next to you.
2) Maybe if you were bigger you'd kick his/her ass.
3) Maybe if you were bigger you'd be more accepted.
4) You'll throw up hella' weight.
5) Your confidence would be higher and the list continues...

I've had all these thoughts and lived them.

I've been able to stomp ass with mad amounts of strength while running gear.

But when the shit wears off... Be ready... Mentally. Eventually the scale will show lower weight. People may see it.... SO WHAT... It's your health. Maybe you'll start getting thrown around, due to strength loss. Then a possible depression may set in for a short time. GEAR has an affect on the mind just as it does on the body, whether you realize it or not. Or admit it or not.

All in all play it smart. If you're on a come down and feeling the blues... Post your feelings and shit on here... I'm sure there are many bro's who have gone through it that are willing to give advice on whatever stage you're going through or coming down off of.

Because when people start feeling down.. That leads to more gear without enough rest time. Or bigger amounts of gear. Take the rest and time off... and strengthen your mind. Then when you load again... You're smarter and ready for all the phases to come.
