My new job...with B&W!

Well, I started my new job yesterday. I am an assistant (only because I'm not 21 yet...) sales representative/merchandiser for Brown & Williamson Tobacco, which makes a host of products, including--KOOL, Pall Mall, Lucky Strikes, Capri, Misty, Carlton, GPC, and a few other brands, like Bugler (roll your own...).

B&W is owned by BAT (British American Tobacco) which is second in market share to only Phillip Morris...

The pay is great, the benefits are amazing...

This just goes to show...IT'S NOT WHAT , IT'S WHO!! (you know...if you don't get the saying, hahaha...!!!!!)

I'm cannot congradulate you unfortunately on your new job. Because of the death of my uncle at an early age (51) because of lung cancer, I also believe that tobacco is one of the evils of thw world today.

Happy for you Blair on a personal level.

Given your ideals and moral standards, which I know to be high, I cannot help but wonder how you could eagerly dive into the marketing of a product which is known to be harmful, and the use of which results in an expense of tens of billions of dollars annually to taxpayers for medical treatment of those afflicted by the disease caused by your company's product.

Some would say you;re a hypocrite. Not I. I just wonder how you feel about the resulting expense to taxpayers.
