I think low carbs has its place... exspecially when you want to remove water from in between the skin and muscle...that works well...

Amen. I use low carb regularly for this. 2 days without carbs and I drop 4 kg of water...presto. The nice thing is that I don't even have to enter ketosis to do this. In fact I won't bother doing a 'weigh in' for LBM calculations without low carbing for a couple of days. Otherwise water weight screws up initial and final measures.

MohawkMuscle - are you using Flax Oil at all?
If not, then is it to avoid the fat cals?

No I donot take flax seed oil...

Im trying to eliminate most fats from my diet... even though they are healthy fats...

Im trying to keep it down to 10-15% or 25g per day but Im always creeping up at 50g per day...

This is only for a few weeks untill I am in the shape I want to be...
then I will up my fat and protein a bit

update

I am increasing my fat to 30% protein 30% and carbs 40%

I feel fuller and stronder eating that way.

Its not about how many carbs you take its when you take em. You only need em large amounts at breakfast and after training. At all other times you only need a trickle. This is the key to getting lean and big at the same time.

To someone else. my 200 grams of carbs a day sounds like a lot. But 80% of this is taken at Breakfast and after training, the rest of the day is just veges and meat. So where does this fit in?

People it ain't cut and dry as low carb and high carb. Eat smart and manipulate your hormonal balance with food!

Just saying I 'm now doing a high carb/ low fat diet is kinda prodding around blind. Understand how the body works first!

i have to agree with you here!

I have learned it's only necessary to hit the 3 hour window with carbs right after training.

High GI in the morning
High GI right after training
Low GI in next meal after training.

Fats + protein and veggies for the rest of the day.
That's

I ran a huge bulking diet these last few weeks where i was eating 600 grams of carbs a day spaced out etc... Yes i gained size, but also a small gut too. I would rather keep my self lean and build muscle patiently.
