with that said, what you just wrote is a cliche that is used as an excuse for why science hasn't proven the existence of god. Its not because Science hates god...its because sicence hates faith based on nothing but ignorance and mysticism. You really think scientists wouldn't like to have credible evidence of a creator or an afterlife? You really think that there aren't any scientists who work full time to prove creationism? Belive me, there are plenty... and not a single one of them have revealed any objective truths about the existence of a god of any sort. Therefore, I regard God as just as non-sensical as the boogie man and I do not need to "seek a different approach" in finding something that cannot be found.

Sorry to hear what happened bro. I have been in a simalar situation, only she left out the rape thing. But we did have the whole thing going on with the kid and her claiming I beat her. I left her a year ago May, and now we can get along (for the most part) as long as we only have limited interaction about our son. Just make sure you do not get back with her. My X is still trying to get back togather, but every time she asks I just remember all the bull shit. Just keep your cool and I hope everything works out for you.

I work in a courthouse and I have to agree about 75% of the time the woman is making shit up about the guy and putting on a sob story for the judge. A state trooper in my academy told us that 98% (thats right 98) of all reported rape cases in my county are false reports. You don't see that in the papers though. While I am in law enforcement I hate a dirty cop just as much as the next guy. I know way to many of them and I can't blame people for hating us half the time. I hope it works out for you and by the way tape recording someone is illegal and not admissable unless they know they are being recorded or you have a warrant to do so (in my state anyway). peace

The moral of the storey: cops and law enforcment are some dirty crooked fuckers and dont trust and fucking one of them!

Dont get me wrong dude, this is a fucked up situation and I hope that the truth will prevail, however everybody needs to stop with this "all cops are fuckers" attitude. I personally know quite a few cops who are some of the coolest people I have ever met, and I know a few who are dicks on a power trip.

It is the same as in any job or even this board...some people are tools and some people are cool. Dont be so quick to judge law enforcement officers because of one situation.
