took me a while to realize i was a alcholoic idiot, haven't had a drop in months. I say with confidence i will never drink again in my life, though tonight will be a true test of will and determination. give me strenght borrleos

are you going to a party? bar? white trash hoedown?

just nut the fuck up and do it. you have too much pride to end up weak. just remember you have to look yourself in the eyes tomorrow morning.

and don't bring negative vibes to my training journal ever again, assnurple

your still an addict

the 3 vices I have had in life
1. copenhagen snuff- quit a while ago
2. booze- quit months ago
3. weed- still abusing

so 2 out of 3 vices are down, surely I'm still a junkie but I've made progress. It won't be long before i quit blazin', I'm too old to be a stoner.

Hang tough Bro you'll be fine. I won't be having any booze either, I have got to be able to get up and train in the am. ;)

going to a party on my sled...the hardest part is explaining to people why i don't have a beer in my hand. it turns into a big deal when i explain myself, everyone busts my balls over it...

Congratulations on kicking the booze. You should contract yourself out as a designated driver tonight and make some extra $$$$

you can do ti gambiny
your too strong to fall under peer pressure on why you dont have a beer
if they are your friends, they wont ask why:) they should know

be a "man"
gargle a beefeater martini and pack in a marshmellow sized dip
and curse at your girl

ahhh, most aren't my friends, just people masquerading as friends...i really have little connection with the people around here. mostly i stick to myself

just have a beer and drink one or two like a normal person, its all in your head, no such thing as an addict, its all in a person's head and learned behavior.
THe bigger deal you make out of it the bigger the problem it becomes

you still quit snuffin?
negative
I found some data which supported nicotine as neuro-protective
less instances of parkinson's and alzheimier's amongst "smokers'
I figure while I deteriorate I'd prefer to keep mine brain intact

one beer is a rarity to me. one beer turns into 5 am staggering drunk...
if i complied a list of what boozing has done for me this is what it would look like:

- 3 serious car accidents, one wrecking my own car
- arrested multiple times for fights and disorderly conduct
- thousands of dollars spent over the years
- lowering my typically high standards and shagging nasties
- acting the fool
- blacking the fuck out and having to ask othes what happened

the list could go on but I'll stop, too embarrassing. it's safe to say one beer will do me no good

i suggest carrying an open beer can or cup with some shit in it (water perhaps, so you can actually drink it), just so people won't ask. a prop, if you will.

for punishment? i actually got off real easy, considering i crashed threw a guard rail, got caught with a dugout, refused the pbt, and stuck my car in someone's front yard...this happened right near Sugarloaf. punishment 100 some odd hours of cc, 6 months probie, and some misc fines.

I'm impressed with the "dugout" part of your confession. Your'e economically sensible.

What's a dugout? I thought people had to go through treatment if its alcohol involved stuff especially with a history of alcohol fights or alcohol involved offenses like that

dugout is a home for your oney-bat, aka one hitter...you put your weed in it.
this happend back in '96 or '97...my record was relatively clean. i did have to attend aa for the duration of my probie

i picked up an ounce thursday night :D

the moving crew should be here any minute, and then i'll be moving in to a deluxe apartment in the SKYYYYYYYYYYYYY (movin' on up). still haven't decided if i'm going out tonight. but i'll be able to smoke some izzz in my own place this evening, either way.

ride fast sleds...this is a sled town come winter, g-unit don't get a lot of airplay up here...

Wow bro, I never knew this. It's a worthwhile decision in the long run if you were an alcoholic idiot though, for sure. That's a big change-congrats and good luck.

It's funny how people think there's something wrong with you if you don't drink.

"Want a cigarette?"
"No"
"Ok. Good choice."

"Want some coke?"
"No"
"Ok"

"Want a shot?"
"No"
"What's wrong? Are you ok?"

I'm a total alcoholic. I'm going on two months sober now. I used to drink every day. Drunk every damn day. Soon as I'd leave work, I'd be drinking. I basically missed out on my twenties because I was drunk. Congratulations on your choice. I've quit tobacco, now drinking and drugs, although the two of those went hand in hand. The gut stays away now too.
