My First Brick Session

I had my first brick training session for the Triathlon I'm training for. The Brick consisted of the cycle and run portions.

Cycle:
Distance - 15miles
Time - 42:43

<transition straight into run>

Run:
Distance - 3.6 miles
Time - 28:00

Upon looking at the calculatr conversion for kilometers to miles, I realized I made an error. Supposed to have done:

Cycle - 12.428 miles
Run - 3.1070 miles
 
Thanks guys. I'm starting out at a Sprint Triathlon. 750 meter swim, 20km cycle, 5km run. I have a while to go until the actual event. Next one doesn't start until June of next year. That gives me until then to get comfortable with the swim, and bring those numbers down some. Also helps me attempt to allocate some funds for the road bike I'm going to have to buy for this race. Unless George wants to sponsor me ;)
 
sounds like a good idea... maybe the first thing you should do is set up a "Rex's Sprint Triathlon Prep Thread"... to get some support for your cause.
 
Good idea, Super Rice. I won't be able to get the training into full swing until September. I have 10 days of leave starting next Sunday taking me to the 25th of August away from a pool, and getting used to the Midnight shift again. Running will be kept up on leave though, and swimming will be performed provided I can find a body of water. Bike is the biggest problem once I'm away from the gym. Next week I'll start my support thread accompanied w/ my measurements, and stats.
