My first back waxing experience...

Well, I'm visiting my mother and sister this weekend at my mom's house, and they were going to wax their lips and eyebrows and decided to wax my back for me. I have a very high tolerance to pain, but I have very thick, course bodyhair (I'm pretty furry), and it was a rather painful experience. Not unberably so, but if it doesn't lessen with repeated waxings, I would have to have second thoughts about doing it again.

You'll probably have to do it every 6 wks or so. The pain will eventually lessen every time u do it. Depending on how fast it grows back, try not to let it get to thick between next time.

That would depend on your threshold for pain. Me personally I go every 6 wks. I'd say if you could easily reach around and grab the hair then get it waxed. Or if you don't like hair then 6 wks.

Mine was pretty long. I naired it exactally two weeks ago (I don't shave it because nair is suppost to slow down regrowth so I can usually get a chick to do it), and it was about 1/2 inch long after 2 weeks.

i use nair on my back every 5 or 6 weeks or so. ya gotta be really careful with that stuff. the first time i used it i burnt my skin really badly. it was SO painful. you can not leave it on more than three or four minutes and there is still a chance of irritation but should go away in a day or two. nair works pretty good once you get the hang of using it properly.

I waxed my back twice. Not sure WHY I did it the 2nd time. I broke out like a man taking a bottle of anadrol a day.

Tip from a veteran of back waxings (me): Pop an Ibuprofen 800mg, ½ hour before your session. Works like a charm.

I would rather cut myself open with a butcher knife in a 100 places and then swim in a pool of gasoline, then roll around in salt before I do that again. Nair for men works just fine for me, last 8 weeks on back and legs. Chest and arms will just shave.
