My dog was hit by a car today

sorry to hear about your dog I can't even imagine how I'd feel if my best buddy were killed let alone if I were a child. It may help down the road to bring in a new pup.

A friend of mine just lost her dog of 15 years and in memory of her decided to spread her ashes around the dog park we go to everyday.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I remember what it felt like when my cat died a few years ago. She really was a member of our family. We haven't had a cat since. I'll get another one. But my family never did. It was literally like a friend had died.

I lost my dog last summer. He developed a tumor in one of his legs that had gotten to the point of limiting his mobility, and his health was in rapid decline. I had to have him put to sleep; one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

I still see stuff at stores for dogs, and instinctively start to buy stuff for him.

I had him for 13 years...
