I've been dieting for about 6 weeks now, started at 258lbs, 13% bf(just under 5'9"). After 6 weeks I was at 228lbs, and around 9%, so I decided to give dnp a go. I ran 400mg(200mg in the morning and 200mg before bed) for 8 days. My diet was a 40-40-20 split, basically the same as I used for the show in the fall.

Anyway, in 8 days I went from 228 to 220lbs, so thats a pound a day. The part that amazes me is that I already dropped 25-30lbs, so its not like I was just dropping water

On a side note, I was a sweaty bitch on 400mg, but could handle it. I decided in my infinite wisdom to run 600mg for the last 2 days. I took my 600 on saturday, but by sunday I just wanted someone to shoot me, so I ended up only taking 200mg and calling it quits. I sure as hell know where my limit is now.

The part I am confused on is that I dropped over 1/2" off my arms during those 8 days, and they were already shredded. I am hoping the dnp just sucked the carbs out of them or something, as losing that much size makes me wanna cry. I'm carbing up now, hopefully it'll make a difference
 
yes youre well in keto right now and will be for the next week or so. skeletal glycogen stores will be flat as hell so expect to regain some size. the other thing is that you might be a lot more dehydrated vascularly and intra muscularly than you might think

i know a couple of guys who use it and they said exactly the same thing. funny that losing on your bi's makes people panic :D

after about 10 days the pricks looked fantastic though, so dont worry until then.
 
Yea, that 600mg definitely kicked my ass too. I tried 800/600/200 over a 3-day period and the second I stepped away from the fan I burst into a sweat. I don't have AC at home so I won't be touching DNP until at least Sept and probably October.

You need to do tons of research, and all dosages are not the same. This is for experienced competitors only.

Good for you. I've tried DNP and went up to 600mg for several days and 800mg for the last day with pretty strict diet, i lost the same amount of weight that i loose on amy regular strict diet. I drank about 3-4 gal of water a day and although i sweat, even at 600mg it wasn't really bad at all. DNP didn't work for me at all. A proof that like everything, not everything works for everyone, not even the great DNP. Will never use it again was a total disappointment to say the least.

Great results. What ancillaries and or supplements did you take during those 8 days?
 
bro if you started at 258lbs and 13% bf and ended up at 228lbs and 9% you lost 13 lbs of fat and 17 lbs of muscle/water! You should look into better ways of dieting/supplementation. You look good in you avatar but obviously you could look better! Good luck bro!

the 9% was a guess, and I did lose a ton of water, my trainer swears she has never seen anyone hold the amount of water that I do.

GD, thanks, that makes me feel much better, and is kinda what I suspected. I figured that there was no way I could lose that much mass in a short period of time. So now I am enjoying carbing back up as I was only eating around 200 carbs per day. Having veins running up my abs and obliques is kinda cool though, I missed it...

Dial Tone, I do have central air, and the shit didnt help. When I hit 600mg I was sweating with the fan and air both on, and night time, nothing like waking up doing the back stroke in your own sweat... Longer periods on 400mg I or 200mg I dont mind, but I'll never go above that again.

I also forgot to mention, I was really short of breath, and crazy lethargic despite running eca with it

I was running enth/eq/anavar, and basically tripled my vitamin intake for the 8 days

I normally do them with my digital videio camera but I just loaned it out, I'll get it back in a few days but till then maybe I can snap a few with the regular camera
 
eh do it with whatever you can, seeing your intra muscular water and glycogen skyrocket while subcutaneous water simultaneously drops would make a really really interesting photo set. i dont hink anyone has done it...youd be famous ;)

anyway, I snapped a few quick shots today, I'll definitely take more around the 10 day mark, possibly some before that as well. I would love to drop more water, I am shredded through the chest, arms, shoulders, legs, but a human sponge in the back, even my abs are still holding lots of water. I'm still running some gh, so I imagine that doesnt help
 
dont worry about it. do the calculations and youll find youre still loaded down with dnp

youre already infamous on ology as that guy with the hats ;)

I couldnt remember the 1/2 life on it, so I wasnt sure how much was left in me, my last 200mg was sun morning though.
They do have me wearing some pretty badass hats and hairstyles on ology...
 
So is DNP really most valuable at the later stages of dieting? Could it be used to jump start weight loss early on? I have put on alot of weight due to an injury and want to trim down quite abit but want something to kick start my diet to keep me motivated. Might DNP do the trick as a first step?

it could be used at the beginning, thats how I started my diet, and I went from 258-242lbs in a week, but I wasnt sure if it was mass I was losing, so I stopped at the one week mark. But I sure did make some changes pretty quick
 
Thanks, i'm in no way a newbie, but definielty never used DNP...Never thought i WOULD. bUT i Have put on so much weight thought it might be a great way to get me started trimming up. From what I understnd, running it with t3 is the way to go.
 
DNP is *NOT* something you mess with just to avoid working hard on your diet & training.
 
I agree, nothing replaces the hard work, proper diet and knowledge. This is much more than luck, trying new things can equal big problems now or in the future. With that said, that is the reason we all discuss these things on here. I realze some people will never use dnp. I am fine with that. I have been one of those..but the more I read the more I see how it does have its place. I just so happen to be in a place where I think it may help me. Therefore any advice I can get is great other than "don't mess w/ it". What about running it with some of the legal stimulants to help combat lethargy?
 
running it with ECA is popular, helps with the lethargy and adds to the weightloss, thats the way I did it
 
Running it with a ECA stack didn't do squat for me. Still lethargic and short of breath, but hey, it's the price you pay.

I had great simular results my first time which was about two months ago. I went from 213lbs to 195.5lbs in 2 1/2 weeks running 600 a day steady. No tapering on or off. Just VERY SWEATY 24/7. Damn Florida heat and humidity does not help either.
 
yeah dnp works wonders for me too..
althogh at 600mg a day its a struggle to carry on with my day.

flat and weak..
thats the 2 dominant symptoms from dnp.

but after a proper carb up, i feel like god.
 
even with eca, I was still kinda lethargic and out of breath like a fat chick, but it did help
 
GD, you were right about the rebound, I finished the dnp weighing in at 220lbs, 6 days later am a much more solid 230lbs, abs arent quite as tight as they were when I finished, but I like this look better. I'll take pics in the next day or so
 
I'm experimenting with 200mgs DNP/day with a bulking diet to see if I can put on muscle while keeping any fat off. So far it seems to be working, and the bonus is you don't really feel it. Only some discomfort at hight..not sweating..just feel hot. The A/C and a couple of fans takes care of it nicely.
100mg DNP/day IMO would work even better but there aren't any 100mg caps out there, and dosing 200mg EOD would give for some really fluctuating DNP blood concentrations.

good idea, but I even found 200mg uncomfortable, not nearly as bad as 400mg, but enough that I dont think i would want to do it for anything other than fat loss. 100mg probably would do the trick

good to hear, id be a bit panicky at losing so much weight if i weighed in as much as you. im sure you know better that i how much your bodys propensity to hold muscle/fat weight changes as you get lighter/heavier

looking forward to seeing the photos :)

are you going to post pre dnp, last dose dnp, and 10 days post dnp shots? or just a before and after sort of thing? like i said, it would be an interesting photo set- i know some people who have used dnp, but since youre already so muscular the results would be far more apparent. (actually maybe itd be a bad idea...every newbie and their dog would want some lol)
 
I didnt take any pre dnp pics, closest I have is the pic I posted with my son, but that was a few weeks before. I did take some pics 1-2 days after I stopped the dnp, and I'll take some tomorrow morning. I should have taken more, but I really hate taking pics
 
Here are the pics I took the day after I stopped the dnp, I was weighing in at 220lbs, and was extremely flat, my arms were down 3/4" in just the week i ran dnp. Today is just over a week later, and I weighed in at 231.5lbs, I'll take the updated ones in the morning

Wow awsome bro. Got any calve shots from the rear? The size of youre legs makes youre calves seem smaller from the front. Otherwise good luck with the comp you look great!!!

Same as Needsize, I was SOB (Short of Breath) pretty much anytime during the day. Even excessive talking at 600mg a day tended to have me breathing faster. People would always ask "Are you ok?" and "Why are you breathing so hard" all of the time, espesialy when you do anything physical. Just one of the wonderfull things you have to get used to when on DNP.

How'd you feel the week after?? Lethargic, and retarded?? I jumped up to 600 for my last 2 days of a 7 day stint, and I thought I might kill someone. DNP and Pitbull don't mix well, not to mention I only dropped 7 lbs. This was a few years back, not sure if they have made any progress, but all the newbies on this board, BEWARE!!! DNP is some evil fucking shit. :evil:
 
I'm not sure the sides are worth the weight loss; my results were good but not outstanding. I could not stay on a medium dose for more than 4-5 days and with that short time the rebound almost left me at my starting point. IMO it's a complete to try DNP and eat normally. You still need to diet fairly strictly to make it worth the effort.
