Man, what a day yesterday. I am on a conference call and one of my employees tells me that my daughter was on the phone and it was an emergency. I answer it and she is histerical. She is crying and and says mom had a seizure and womens clothing store and was on the ground shaking. The lady at the store asked me what to do if they should lay her on her side until the ambulance gets there. I say yes and I will be right there.
My office is about 7 minutes from the store and so I am going 70+ in a 35 mph zone passing people in the turn lane and everything with my flashers on. I made it in 3 minutes. I was scared to death. I thought she was dying and I wanted to see her. I was praying the whole way asking God to let her stay I couldn't make it alone without her.
Anyway I get to the store and the fire dept ambulance was already there and the paramedics were helping her and my daughter which was totally crying hysterically. They ask me all kinds of questions and I was trying to answer but I was very stressed out. They asked her how old she was and she didn't know or what her birthdate was.
I ask my daughter to please calm down and tell me what happened . She said that my wife was looking at purses and all of sudden she started looking crazy at the ceiling like a bee was flying around her head. Then she fell to the ground hard and stared shaking and convulsing for 5 minutes straight until she passed out. My wife didn't remember anything.
So they took her to the hospital in the ambulance and she is still there this morning. they are doing mri, cat scan and all kinds tests on her. I just thank God that they went to that store after they ate otherwise they would have been on the freeway. I would appreciate prayers for her. Man, it was just a normal day and then bam all that. Lets you see just how fragile life is.
