that plactin count maybe the missing piece here...suppresion from a minor non-cancerous tumor is a possibilty...the age is also alarming here....26....

This is why I suggested he try Hcg. If his test levels come up using Hcg then you know that the problem is with the pituitary.

obsessis you might want to check out www.directlabs.com this will allow you to have control of your own treatment. You can then check your own test levels when you try thing like Hcg.

i got some bloodwork done and the doctor said i have really low testosterone. i had to go back to submit 7 vials of blood for more testing. he spoke with an endocrinologist to try to figure out what's going on. he said i will most likely be given shots or cream to use to bring my testosterone back up. he said the normal for one type was 50 - 450 and my test was 18. it is causing some problems with my body (slight gyno, sensitive nipples, no sex drive or energy).

I am wondering what you guys would do if you find out you aren't producing testosterone. do you know what the doctor will give me? is there anything that I should specifically ask for? what should I do? i have no idea.

will i need to do anything to make sure the testosterone doesn't cause any bad side effects? i figure it wouldn't since it'd only bring it up to 'normal' levels. what should I expect?

If in USA you will probably be prescribed TRT like Androgel(Test gel).

i don't have a full workup of my blood, i know he said he was checking testosterone levels when he first took the blood. he only said one of my levels was at 18 instead of 50 - 450 as an average. i've been taking methadone to get off painkillers.


edit: will things like terrebus (sp?) or other 'testosterone booster' pills help out? I can't imagine they'd work as well as something the dr would give me but it can't hurt i guess.

well methadone and pain killers (all opiods) can cause gyno.


tribulus will do nothing, its actually a weak estrogen

i take it i should ask for aromasin from the doc. if he doesn't give me anything besides the gel should I order the AIFM from your autosignature? Would that help the gyno?

should I take either the aromasin or aifm while i take the test gel or after I am done taking it?

should I take an anti-estrogen w/ testosterone treatment or after I'm done? I am assuming that is for the gyno and it should take it away. will just testosterone take it away? the gyno isn't hard, feels fatty.
