Optimum makes an Egg protein and a Casein protein. Give those a shot. And soy protein should work. My kid is lactose intolerant and he's been on soy products for a couple years and from the research I've done it will not harm you in any way.
I think i've developed a lactose intolerance. I could always have protein shakes but all of a sudden I can't have any dairy and even a whey protein shake makes me vomit. I took 2 months off and tried drinking a whey shake again and same thing. What should I do to get in my protein? Soy?
Try buying the isopure whey protein first. It's lactose free... If that doesn't work go with the isolate but the hydrolized is by far the best protein out there.
ok so maybe i'm allergic to something in whey isolate then, because i had been using optimum gold standard and then i tried syntrax nectar and felt the same symptoms. any idea what this could be?
Before you go any of the other routes make sure that the milk is not to blame. I though that it was the protein myself until a few trials u found out that I was lactose intolerant. Try mixing with almond milk or coconut milk and see if you are still having the same issues
