No, the solo in nothing else matters IS DEFFINATLEY DONE BY JAMES HETTFEILD...have you seent he video?
I know hammet is the lead guitarist, but james does also perform solos on not just that song but on others....such as orion on M.O.P....he does the first(i think) and hammet does most of the others.

Yeah man i've got the clip on video, it's Kirk doing the solo, James is playing over it with a few basic licks, nothing special, Kirks doing all the work thats why the camera crosses to him. Hammet is also playing a steel guitar in that clip, the solo sounds as though its played on a steel not an acoustic like what james is playing. Trust me i know these things.

Alls i said was that you were saying "Goths" like Slipknot, without explaining what a "Goth" is by you. You say that Slipknot is "Gothic" music based on the "Goths" by you, when i know for a fact that Slipknot isnt Gothic.

Look mate, where i come from slipknot is considered very gothic....but as i said, that does not mean everywhere you go people will have the same opinion about this....how do you define a goth...those stupid people who go around wearing black, painting theri fucking eyes shut weraing slipknot sweats...at least thats what they look like over here.

Yeah James uses an acoustic in that, not sure whether it has a little pick-up in it or just has a mic next to it though.



And saying SlipKnot is gothic is like saying Hanson is death metal.

There are plenty of goths around here that buttfuck the shit out of them, they all love them and yes, agree that slipknot IS gothic music.

They say it, i spoke to a few in college.
Its up to you to agree or disagree but dont say....slipknot is'nt gothic music or that you would love to ask bill bitch cakes from the bitch squad whether or not they are a gothic band.....it is a matter of opinion.
