anyways, I heard that muscle milk retains water in your body. Anyone know if this is true?

I just bought three 24 packs of muscle milk light from costco at 28 bucks a pop so I just wanted to know if you guys have heard this or have experienced it.

I think muscle milk is a bit overrated. It tastes ok and all, but I would rather have a protein shake after lifting.

nah, that's crap. unless it has high sodium or increases estrogen levels, it isn't gonna make you hold water.

Muscle Milk used to be alright for MR or before bedtime because it has Micellar Casein Protein.

But recently (3 or so months ago) they removed Micellar Casein and the main ingredient is Sodium and Calcium Caseinate.


It sucks now.

I'd avoid it altogether

they sure didnt they...I just checked my bottle and nope no casein ..and thats why I buy the shit...I feel cheated...time to find a new product

I just checked mine and it still sportin the Micellar Casein so i must of gotten one thats been sitting around.

As far as water ret,,,Not in my exp. I just started back on MM recently and the tast isnt as good as i remember it but the mint choc chip still tastes prety damn good so MM is better than nothing if your like me and just cant bare the tast of others.

The taste is the best Ive had. Mixes with water or milk. No clumps.
Its a good mm, even if its a little higher in the fat content then some of the other crap Ive been choking down over the years.
