muscle milk and cutting weight

my friend is currently taking winstrol in an attempt to cut some weight. He has some muscle milk on hand. Would the muscle milk be a bad choice for him to cut weight with. His buddy recommended it for postworkout recovery. Is there a protein that you guys recommend for cutting weight. Also how much cardio is recommended to lose weight quick. he understands that diet is important, and he has it in check.

its not the drug that makes you lean. Its the diet and cardio. You can cut taking dbol if you want. tell your friend to educate himself, it will save him lots of money and some achey joints.

Muscle milk is a horrible idea for postworkout. Drink that stuff at any other time of the day except postworkout. It is a slow digesting protein.

lose weight quick?
thats easy
T3+clen+trex+xenadrine+hydroxycut

Cycle this at twice the recommend dosage and you'll lose weight quick, no cardio even needed bro ;) I lost 20lbs in 2 weeks on this cycle bro.

Yep, and the fat (even mct) also slow the digestion.

just for my personal knowledge, what kind of protein shake would you take for post workout? I myself have 2 shakes a day of muscle milk. One of them is post work out. I have had great gains thus far, however, i am consuming around 270 grams of protein /daily.

why is muscle milk so slow digesting?

Muscle milk is mostly casein proten, which is a slow digesting protein. As mentioned earlier it also has a high amount of fat, even if it is good fat it still has it. Post-workout foods should always avoid this because the more fat, and/or slow burning protein/carbs means that it takes longer for those nutrients that you just consumed to be broken down. Muscle milk is more of a meal replacement than a postworkout shake.

A post-workout shake should consist of whey protein, which is fast digesting, and a simple carbohdyrate (even if you are cutting). I think you can buy powdered carbs (dextrose may be the type of carb, not for sure).

Personally I take 16 oz of Powerade and 2 scoops of Protein after working out. Than 1/2-1 hour later I try and eat a meal with the slower burning stuff.
