MRI results in: Not Good

I have a "very significant tear" in my triceps tendon. It happened during two-a-days in August. I sat out two weeks at the time and was accused of not being tough. My idiot trainers didn't get me in for an MRI until last Friday. Turns out I've been playing injured and beating the odds all year, as the doc said "you have a better than 50/50 chance of tearing it completely if you continue to play.

There are only two weeks left in the season, so I think I'm gonna keep going.

How many of you think this problem could have been caused by AAS? My cycles are still pretty small: this summer was 600mg of Prop/ wk for 9 weeks. Any reccomendations for the off season? I was planning on doing a spring cycle.

Damn Bro......same boat.......but training for Army SF......torn Lateral Meniscus......my MRI is in 45 minutes. Wish me luck.

do not continue to play, tyhe surgey to fix it is not fun(have read a few articles on such injuries). I would sit out the last two weeks, and be grateful that you have not permanently injured yourself. I would hit some Nandrolone if you are not worried about being tested (most college AS tests are test/epitest ratio, and not for specific metabolites). GH would also help recovery, but I would be more worried about healing than playing!!!!!!!

AS could of had a play. Depends on the type you are doing and your cycling. AS cause the muscle tissue to grow and get stronger but your tendons and ligaments do not grow at the same pace. So that could wind up in a tear if your ligaments never catch up and have to accept the loads your "enhanced" muscles put on them

Im with FarBeyondDriven, if you muscles grow a lot faster than the tendons/ligaments can adapt they can become the weakest link.

Overtraining is the cause of the injury--I see this a lot. During a cycle, you "feel" invincible, so you tend to overtrain. GH is help with recovery..if surgery is required, i would get it, then use GH during recovery.

Found out a year ago that I have a torn labrum in my left shoulder(same injury that put Tony Boselli from Jaguars out for the year). As well as some brasidus in both. I took off about 2 to 3 months. I was suppose to go to the specialist to find out whether or not I need surgery, but I avoided it. I just keep lifting, fighting through the pain. I know I should stop but, I won't until I finish my new cycle.

Stone cold playing depends on position and possibilty of success in a fixed brace. It is not common but also not unseen.Defensive line have had success playing with such a brace. Such injuries are ussually associated with Eq.
