I just had my MRI done. Well unlike the last time in November this time I had to raise my left arm above my head to fit in there. All was good until about 3/4 of the way through and BOOM. I FREEKED THE FUCK OUT. I was soaked with sweat. I started kicking and flopping like a seal trying to get out of there. I still fucked up about it.

how long were you in there? i guess all you can do is not to think about it. sucks if you have to do it again.:worried:

one of my girlfriends had to get one, and it was rough on her, started crying and was shaking pretty bad after too.

Damn...its one of those things you think you can handle until you get there .... damn that sucks. I get anxiety thinking about it

I had no issues in a closed machine for my back

They need to find out what is wrong bro, nothing is gonna happen, monsters aren't going to eat you

Find out what's wrong and get it over with

Can you get a sedative?

LOL. Well the thing is I was in the same machine back in November and fell asleep it it. Both times it took around 40 minutes.

lol get a grip Travis :p

there are tons of people who freak out in those MRI machines. My grandfather was in there for awhile and made them take him out because he freaked out so much.

LOL Im giggling a little picturing you flopping like a seal. I hope you dont mind. lol

LOL. I don't mind. I'm not usually like that. I have noticed that in the past 6 months I tend to have fidgity leg syndrome real bad while sitting in my truck for a good while. Didn't used to do that at all. Could they have something in common?

my last MRI was in a small (for me) closed machine. they slid me into the machine, arms tight against my sides up to my biceps. i immediately requested the technician to get me the h**L out NOW! we compromised with my arms up and my hands behind my neck.

the technician said he had seen panic attacks in the MRI tube that caused thrashing, screaming, cussing, crying, farting and loss of bowel/bladder control. and that was from guys!

Well I didn't get that bad but I can see it happening. That was a feeling that I have never experienced.

when I had my nuclear I had to have my arms up too.........I'm not claustrophobic, but if you're not in a comfortable position it sucks ass. You really have to go to sleep or the sheer boredome of the whole thing makes you want to scream.

You are going to require conscious sedation now...hope your insurance covers it. Ask for versed, you won't remember shit.

can you rub one out while you're in there?
i can handle tight places, but the wrong kind i get spooked
