Moving to Florida need sugestions

Wanting to know if anyone has any suggestions as to where would be a good place to move to in Florida for a single guy, i have visited Miami, and Ft Lauderdale really nice but i kinda liked Coco beach better, any input would be appreciated.

Tampa/Clearwater is really nice.

Tampa has the clubs (Ybor, et all, see my post), good restaurants, and pleanty of crime.

Clearwater is on the other side of the bay and is nice, with not as many clubs, world famous beach, and much less crime.

I was going to say clearwater/tampa I go there every year around the 4th of july there fesivals are bad ass and with ybor city (so many clubs)!!!

Depends what you like. Im originally from Miami, FL. Most of my family's moved to the Pembroke Pines, Ft. Lauderdale area, and thats a really nice area. Ive also lived in Panama City, FL and have been to Ft. Walton Beach a lot.....i wouldnt really recommend living there. Its nice, but not to live...at least for me. Ive also been to Tampa, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Orlando, Cocoa Beach, Daytona, Boca, and they're all nice places to move to. Out of all of them, id say Tampa. Thats where i'm planning on moving to. I like the area a lot, its a decent looking place and its not as populated as some other cities, like Miami. Whatever you choose, im sure you'll be happy. Florida's a great place to live in. dont do it.there are too many cotten heads here.and drugs are too easy to find.and its way too easy to get laid.by the way all the girls at the beach have to wear long sleeve shirts and long paints.its no fun.your better off staying home.

are you asking where the cool place to go in FT Lauderdale? if you are then there are 2 areas.. First Beach place which is I95 to Sunrise, or broward go east to A1A and your there... the whole street is clubs, the second is Downtown Lauderdale, Broward Blvd and 1st St. then south on 1st.. Both places will get you laid.. good luck

Im in the Ft. Laud area... The clubs here are pretty good.. Miami and So. Beach is good as well.. Orlando was good a few years ago but the clubs close early. Cocoa beach is a small redneck town (IMO) that is best for hitting the beach but not much else..

Tampa & Ybor are nice, clubs are probably second to those in Miami...

I'm about 35 minutes west of Orlando, about to move to West Orlando (Lake Buena Vista, to be exact). If it wasn't for 2nd Light Cocoa Beach being the nearest decent spot to go surfing when I have the time, I would never go there. Softer, whiter sand on many of the Gulf-coast beaches as well as further south on the Atlantic coast at the Palm Beach/Miami beaches. Clearer waters at the more southern beaches as well, better for snorkelling and scuba diving. And there is definately more in the way of a party/singles scene in South Florida, Tampa/Ybor, and O-town.
