- The St. Petersburg Times is reporting that several prescription
painkillers and steroids were found by authorities in the apartment of
Andrew 'Test' Martin who would have been 34 years old today. Police
spokeswoman Laura McElroy said that there was also a half-eaten pizza and a
soda near the body suggesting that he was in the middle of a meal when he
died. "He was obviously very healthy. The mystery of his death will likely
be solved by his toxicology report," McElroy added. With the suspicion of
steroids as the cause of death, WWE chose not to air the usual "In Memory"
graphic at the start of RAW.

It would be careless and naive to deny that steroids can complicate an existing health issue, or even create one. HBP and bad cholesterol can cause heart attacks.

Too many people have the mentality that steroids really can't hurt a fly because the amount of reported issues is very small to the amount of users. It happens. We've lost our own on here before due to heart attack at a young age from a guy who was otherwise in peak physical condition.

if he was on steroids practically non stop (i.e.10-12 years) it was probably heart disease. Wrestlers work 300 days a year.

i hate seeing this...its a tough life they live...not just in the spot light trying not to fuck up and acting and being in the now but also getting beat and risking injury everytime in the ring with no weight classes and even chairs and stuff ....i have no opinion on the dude other than he was cool and he was to young to die..
