Mods... need help

This is mrplunkey (who would have guessed!).

Since yesterday, every board (even non-plat ones) give me the "You must be a platinum member" message when I try to read them. Well I'm lifetime plat through 2015 and even the non-plat boards give the message, so something is fuxored.

So I try to file a ticket, and since it recognizes my email it keeps trying to force me to log-in but when I try, it tells me name/password not recognized. Sooo... I log out and back into the discussion forums with that same username/password just fine, but that same combination (or just using my email as my username) is fuxored for creating a ticket.

So even trying to do a password reset... know how it automatically sends you the message that has the password reset key built into it? It rejects that username even though that server sent me the username/key combination to me!

Wierd... its like I'm in some systems and not in others.

Anyway -- plz help.

I'd suggest not using any alters in the meantime. when you get back, PM a mod to find out why you were TO'ed

You don't think there is a good use for all these boards? Well, that's your opinion. We may be consolidating some of the boards in due time, probably during or immediately after the software upgrade.

Should the second mod have PM'd you to discuss this? Why? We've announced that we're serious about letting the mods do their job and that mocking a mod for doing his or her job is out. Why do we have to explain that to you in a PM as well?

We had a mod who was trying to keep a potentially useful thread alive, as opposed to letting it turn into a steaming pile of -- well, you get the picture. Trying to do his job, in other words. You "snickered" and "golfclapped" him for it. Policy says Plats get timeouts for that sort of behavior, and non-Plats get the bum's rush.
