minor cardio question

SAGAT

New member
alright, i wanna start doing some more cardio (since, well, i'm not doing ANY at the moment lol). i want to build some endurance, but not at the expense of (muscle) mass. what would you people recommend? i was thinkin maybe 15-20 mins moderate intensity?

o yeah on a side note, hit a dead PR yesterday, pulled 260 for 3 on my last set! f'n HELL YEAH

Depends on what you need/want the endurance for.

If you simply want to keep yourself from getting winded easily, I'd recommend sprints/interva work or sled pulling to improve GPP. If you need to develop endurance for long periods, longer cardio sessions would be needed.

I personally stick to sprints/intervals, it doesnt cost me any muscle, but I dont need any sport specific or long term endurance, I just personally feel better if I'm in better cardiovascular shape.

Hope I've helped

I agree with cuthbert on this one. And I myself find sprint intervals much more fun and it takes less time to complete.

cuthbert, it's not for long-period endurance, just for being in better cardiovascular shape (like yourself). thanks for the help, i'm gonna give that a go. thnx all!
