milk and bodybuilding?

i love milk. i really like to add it to my MRP's. and there is extra protein this way. only problem is 12 grams of useless sugar per 8 oz. how bad is this for someone who wants to stay hard and vascular? do i need to cut it out of my diet.? i have a high metabolism. i was thinking of drinking milk early in the day and cutting it out after 4:00 pm. if i reduce other carbs, is it ok to get my carbs from sugar. or are those complex carbs necessary? also how bad is milk fat? some say whole milk is good for your muscles. i have always used skim. is whole milk fat good for muscles? or better to stick with flax oil and natural peanut butter? my questions is milk bad or good?

I get the shits pretty bad when I use milk in my protein shakes , lately I've been using heavy cream and water in my protein shakes.. Tastes a LOT better IMO, I dunno why :)

YUM

Unfortunately I am lactose intolerant. To the extreme. Even those 99% lactose free protein shakes makes me all bloated and gives me the shits. The other day I had a cheat day and had some milk products and even with ultra lactaid I had some slight discomfort. Milk and it's products are just not for me but if it works for you go ahead.

imo if you are just on a regular diet a little milk wont hurt...but if you are getting ready for a contest it needs to be cut out.

Yeah bodybuilders have been saying this for some time now. Due to milk products making you more bloated and making the body hold more water no matter if you are lactose intolerant or not. Hmmmmmm.

Arnold sez "milk iz four baybees, do you wunt too loook like aye baybee?!?!?!";);)

Personally, I drink about a liter (quart) per day between what's in my coffee and in my shakes. I do think that when trying to get under 10% bodyfat this amount of consumption would hinder your success.
