Military bro's, I need some advice

chefbone said:
Do you suck cock? May you burn in hell for questioning a man of his caliber. Peshmerga is a decorated vet who has kept freedom available to you and yours. You ??? his IQ? WTF is your problem. He made a general statement that makes perfect sense.

You should change your name from go2failure to COCKMONGER

Yours truly,
:Chef: :tuc:

Being in the Army, Navy, Marines, AF, a gang, or anything else for that matter does not equate manhood or courage. However, it does state what you are prepared to do when asked.

So the fuck what if he's a Vet, so am I... I dont wear it on my shoulder because its my job and my duty to do what I do.

I never said it proves manhood. Him being a vet deserves a certain level of respect. I offer my sincere apologies because I was unaware of your service. I am truly sorry. The thing is I've seen some gov. and mil. bashing on the board lately and it infuriates me. Some people don't understand the dedication, devotion and sacrifice that it requires to VOLUNTEER for the service. I will edit that previous post. PM me later, I'm going to the Army in October and I have ???'s about exercise and preparation for it.

SORRY DUDE :Chef: :tuc:

A pretty ignorant and uneducated statement, definitely an army member's IQ.

I know more pilots that have been shot at in the AF than I know marines, navy, or army members--and I know a lot of them...

Also, those bullshit convoy/patrol cover stories arent good for blanket "we do the fighting" statements anymore, BECAUSE all branches are being tasked AND trained to do it. Yep, ALL branches are doing it now.

Air Force is the first in to get shot at and to set up camp-- without a flight line, no troops/equipment = no army. Example = Afganistan and other "remote", but VITAL airstrips.

So, pretty much the AF blows the hell out of stuff while getting shot at, so that the army can move their toys in to babysit.

and finally,

Without beat down enemy air defenses--meaning AF goes in first = no army/marine advancement without airpower...

Damn Bro I thought it was wrong of him to talk trash also about the Air Force but you didn't have to be that way & say it had to be an Army IQ! Whenever your life is on the line during any battle/firefight there is nothing you love more than air support may it be from the Army/AF/Navy/ or Marines. Every branch talks their crap about each other during peace time but during a War, shit we our all one big family that needs each other!

All branches are trained to do the fighting now and that is why you even see females getting killed now but to say that the AF is the first to get in and shot at is bull! They damn sure didn't have any AF that had secured our Drop Zone for us before we would go in. Yes part of your statement is true that we need the airstrips and airpower but if you think the AF goes in to take control of those airstrips all alone it is bullshit! That is what were trained for and what we do with the help of the marines. Then last for you to say that "I guess you were in the AF at least since your talking crap to a Ranger that has served" the AF blows the Hell out of things while being shot at so the Army can go in and babysit is very idiotic and just plain stupid!!! We are the Boots on the ground that are fighting face to face if your lucky and being shot at and watching their Bro's getting hurt or killed while moving to our destination/objective and taking it out and then yes we set up perimeter and guard/babysit so the AF can come in to the airstrip! Have some respect Bro I do for the Air Force or a matter of anyone that has served in any branch! Thanks.

The fact of the matter is that bashing between branches goes on as well. (example already given)

However, this is not meant in the same way as the anti-military types, its just sister service rivalry and pride...

I understand your aggravation.

Nowadays the AF does its own dirty work for airstrips and OPS. They take their combat controllers, TACP, Pararescue, CE, MX, and security forces and set up camp (Thank God for C-130s)...

While I do know the army gets shot and so do the marines, I also know the AF does. Case in point, my last squadron:

The Iraq part 2 campaign was at a standstill while the B-52s revved their engines, took off with their low speed capabilities, and blew the fuck out the republican guard with little to no air-to-air support and TONS of AA fire. We cleared the way those days. Bottom Line: Purple Hearts were handed out bro, we did our job just as you did yours.

However, Persh called us out and I gave it back to him. I'm sure that at least one person from every branch can claim they've been shot at. I'm also sure that at least one person from every branch can say they haven't.

to say the Air Force isnt a branch of the military is just plain ignorance. Every war is won with air power. With the new drone technology there will eventually be almost no need for ground troops. Air force takes care of business.

yep we might not always be in the direct line of fire but we are the backbone.........without our Air Force there would be no victories.

Yes your right but not many Pro athlete went Special Forces of any type that I know of. Also his sacrifice isn't anymore than any Man that leave his wife, kids, family, & dog to go fight for his Country, but I still Love him! Man I missed my Dog!!!!

I was hoping someone would mention that what Pat did was no different than any other man that served, died and left behind a wife, his children and a beautiful family life. I do admire what he did though, he left a life and sport that alot of very selfish people would kill for. Much respect for the men that serve their country for the good and safety of all.....THANK YOU!

Guys....I'm just fucking around....ENGAGE SARCASM SHIELD (alt-cntrl-F3)
